I'm pleasantly surprised by this one. You start on a rooftop, and you can disassemble/remove junk and rebuild (within limits). As you disassemble, you collect items that can be used to upgrade your equipment and eventually unlock more areas. This is the primary gameplay loop – it may be grindy to some folks, but it’s kept me passively hooked thus far.

This is also a crafting game, so along with upgrading your equipment, you will collect recipes that will allow you to craft different types of buildings/items like workstations, gardens, cooking equipment, and other cool gadgets and gizmos that help you accomplish your goals.

The devs release updates frequently. It’s one of the few early-access games in my library that I consistently revisit when a new update is released.

I want to say that there's some good ideas in it's concept, the layout, icons and characters are aesthetically pleasing, the level design is good, the controls are smooth, the tooltips somewhat helpful.

HOWEVER
I played for a fair few hours to see if it improved. It did not.
The reason I don't recommend it is because of repetitive, ridiculously grindy activity and motion sickness.
Adjusting the camera and graphics doesn't help - because part of the game is fishing A LOT (and also walking a lot), while you're fishing as soon as you've reeled in, for no good reason the camera zooms in to the character and immediately zooms out. THAT is the cause of motion sickness, not the motion of the moving character - adjusting any of the graphics WILL NOT HELP THAT! If the camera didn't do this, I wouldn't have a problem.

I'm also irritated about the reminder to eat at 60+% hunger. I can understand 20% or less, but not at over half full.

Unhappy about carting around steel sheets and wood planks one by one - you're going to tell me that my character is smart enough to deconstruct old machinery, build new stuff, but can't use the most primitive tool man has used for millennia... THE WHEEL... It's a cheap move on the devs' part. It's essentially a walking simulator and not very entertaining.
