Playing a tiny character in a scaled up approximation of real world locations in one of my favourite types of environmental theming in games, and Tinykin just may be my new favourite. Journeying through all the rooms of the house as a two-inch explorer provides plenty of creative takes on settings that combine regular household objects into a selection of differently themed levels. It takes a smidge of inspiration from Pikmin in the form of the Tinykin, but recontextualises them in a 3D collectathon platformer space to marvellous results.

Controls are smooth as butter, art direction is excellent, sound design is satisfying, and the music makes great use of dynamic tracks. Level design is not only visually brimming with creativity, but is laid out in such a way that it's satisfying to explore and get around and rarely leaves you searching high and low for one particular collectable for long. It's quite the feat for stages as huge as they are.

Tinykin was one of the most enjoyable 3D platformers I've played in a while and I absolutely see myself coming back for repeat playthroughs in the future. It's quite a testament to its quality when the only gripe I can think of is that it's a little on the easy side.

Fun adventure/platform game for 10 hours of entertainment.

If you like collecting things, fun gameplay, good music, and great level design, then Tinykin is a must play. It's one of my all time favourite collectathon/3D platformer games. I hope Splashteam make more games like this.
