Looking forward to increased stability and features come actual launch date. So far it's a blast to play but could benefit from optimization, content and stability. I'm sure it'll become an often played favorite with friends like the other Tide entries.

Kind of a fun combination of mass effect, vermintide, l4d formula with new enemies.

I haven't had any stuttering or fps drops to speak of, solid 60fps all the time on high settings @1440. I have had some lockups where my xbox controller decides to disconnect and reconnect (it doesn't usually do that). Although most reviews will mention that you're able to access so much more content and side-areas before being forced to fight the "core" bosses, I've kind of felt it to be a little bit dangerous for me. I'm finding I'm exploring far off areas and zones I'm not really ready for and getting punished for it by being outclassed. I'd never advocate for it, but there isn't really a system that shows you where level appropriate side-dungeons are. Souls is supposed to stay an exploratory adventure and I'd hate UI elements saying "GO HERE DO THIS, COLLECT 12 PELTS". But my need to get map fragments and explore has gotten me in trouble. Still beautiful and amazing and a much more vast game.

Thus far it's playing perfectly. Spent awhile nailing down the right settings, personally I don't like blur/bloom/lens flare so I turn them off any chance I get. Also don't understand why I'd sacrifice frames to beef up my cloud textures, though admittedly the skybox is beautiful, the entire point of the game has you scrounging for materials on the ground. Averaging about 90fps with 2560x1440, framerate set to unlimited, fullscreen display. i9-9900k, 1080ti, 16gb ram.

Update: Did everything there is to do in a single clear, never crashed once. Switched it to windowed borderless and it seemed happiest that way. Only issue I had was whatever most recent update they added cleared my custom keybinds and settings back to default.

Great game and better still it keeps getting new content years after it's release.

Fun Artstyle and a cool concept but ends up being repetitive pretty fast. Extremely unforgiving.

Excellent even in early access and has only been improved with recent experimental build changes. It's like minecraft for engineers.
