This review delivers an amount of value with a significantly lower level of investment.

I've just rewritten my review to be positive as there was progress made with this game. And less than 24 hours later, Starbreeze Studios is announcing the game gets less funding now? In what reality is it a smart move to let your flagship game run dry and yet talk about how important this game is and how confident you are this game will be the success it should have been?

I hope I am wrong, but it feels like they are planning to do the bare minimum to keep the game alive now, without the intent to develop it further and make it the game it should have been. Because that's the feeling I get when I read "continue delivering amounts of value to our players with a significantly lower level of investment."

Not recommended to buy due to the possibility of the game being already considered dead and abandoned by Starbreeze Studios.

Crime Boss: Rockay City

I didn't think I'd be sitting here in 2025 with almost 3,000 hours in Payday 2 and saying... It's better than Payday 3.
But here we are.


Is Crime Boss: Rockay City perfect, the Payday killer? No, not yet. But Payday 2 wasn't perfect either and I still played it for quite a while. And as a Payday killer? Yes, if Payday 3 and Crime Boss: Rockay City continue as is, then it will be the Payday killer.

I really like the single player mode, it's not just the online mode in offline form. The variety in heists is enough to keep the game entertaining, and there's a stable selection of heists to choose from.

As for the online part, it just works? No weird servers to keep me from playing, a SERVER BROWSER, and a variety of modes to keep things varied.

What I find a bit odd about the game is the weapon attachment system, which... basically doesn't even exist? You buy weapons with scopes already attached, and yes. You can't change anything on them except the skin? Strange decision.

But considering the fact that the developers are still working on the game with fresh updates... Buy this instead of Payday 3.

I really don't know, you have to tell me. which cheat did you used to unlock every infamy at once? Maybe, just maybe you didn't even used cheats joining my lobby but you 100% used cheats to unlock your infamy and thats the reason you got kicked by my anticheat mod.
