Team Reptile perfectly captured the vibe of Jet Set Radio and built a worthy spiritual successor. You knocked it out of the park :)

Pros:
- You feel like you're living the Charlie Day conspiracy meme
- Cool art style / vibe

Cons:
- Accurate depiction of when I try and socialise
- Poor performance

While the path forward isn't always clear, it's there. Finding it is part of the fun.
I recommend it if you liked Outer Wilds.

You will have seen all the gameplay in the first few hours.

Here's a few gripes I have with it (non-exhaustive):
- Every miniboss is the same: shoot them, they go invincible, shoot the balls above their head, repeat.
- Every mission feels like "go here, kill enemies, you're done". There's next to no variety in that regard.
- Enemy spawn rates are painfully slow in many areas. I found that most of my time in early missions was spent waiting for the next 4 or 5 enemies to spawn.
- Difficulty curve is basically nonexistent, until you get to Echo Swamp where suddenly the enemies actually start to hurt.

Not to mention the terrible translation. Surely a company as big as Nexon can afford a decent localisation team?

As many people have already said: the more I play this, the more I want to play Warframe.

This game oozes as much style as it does blood.

The tutorial made the game seem promising but all the maps we tried are broken and unplayable.

tl;dr - Considering the venture capital invested into this game I am very disappointed in its progress, and can no longer recommend it as I have lost faith in the competency of the team and/or leadership.

I originally reviewed this positively a few days after launch. But nearly 2 years later very little has changed and some things have even got worse.

Credit where credit is due, there seems to have been various content updates over the years. Some of the features in my original review were also added: very nice, thank you. But unfortunately, that's where my praise ends.

I mentioned content updated, but I've yet to experience any of them because of the many issues plaguing the game. The most egregious of which is the broken controls on Index. It took me 10 minutes of trial-and-error and searching online to realise that I wasn't just doing something wrong, but the Index control scheme is actually just broken. I cannot cast spells, as a mage. That's pretty bad. It seems like the grip just isn't triggering the spellcasting thing, but I know the grip works because I can pick up my weapons just fine.

Back at launch, my friends and I found our a little dungeon close to spawn. It turned out you could walk around behind the dungeon entrance to find a GIANT hole where you could see into the dungeon but not be attacked by anything within. You can just walk on top of the ceiling right to the end, skipping everything. It was a fun little bug, especially funny since the hole was so huge. But now, 2 years later, that hole is still there.

These are just two problems among the many smaller problems that I could forgive at launch, but cannot forgive now.

tl;dr Buy this game.

I was a fencesitter for a while but I went and bought it today. My expectations have been exceeded.
Who knew how fun it was to slice boxes to music?

Pros:
- Cheaper than a gym membership
- Enough arm movement to get you ripped pretty quickly
- You'll feel like a badass when you do a song on Expert mode (I know I do)
- It looks great, plays great, and sounds great

Cons:
- My palms are sweaty
- Knees weak
- Arms spaghetti (from all the swiping around)
- Headset also sweaty
- Maybe I should open the window
