It's a pretty fun game. The RJ 911 setting is pretty unique. The story build up to the end was nicely done, and the voice acting throughout is top notch (some pretty colorful characters in that town!).

Scaled Lord, this game is amazing!

Overall I had quite the fun with it, with the story and music evoking various emotions in me and tugging at my heartstrings(which was super well done). I am certainly looking forward to the next entry!

I love my silly little Vampire game. The world, the music, it's all incredible, and the progression is super satisfying to me. A big plus is the ability to tinker around with the settings to make it less (or more) grindy, adjust the difficulty to your liking. I've had a blast with it, both pre and post release. Now if only I was half as good at building beautiful castles

It was a fun and unique game, with very cleverly designed puzzles. I think it's not accurate to call them puzzles, since they were whole scenarios. Artstyle was interesting, and the music set the atmosphere quite well. Definitely worth playing

October edit: Okay now other guns too feel actually viable. I'm kinda liking this game again

Let me preface by saying that it's fun, it's insane fun. But I don't think it needs nProtect Gameguard. All of the progression worries the devs talk about can be handled server side. It doesn't need an invasive AC. And a quick search on the Helldivers subreddit shows hackers are still there. So by principle I can't recommend it.

100 hour update: Maybe it deserves a revised rating after all I've played, considering even with the AC. Fwiw, it is really fun - I do believe with your buddies you can draw out at least 50-70 hours of fun and bullshittery.

But I must add, that in its current state at least, it kind of starts feeling like a grind/chore eventually. I think the main thing to blame is not the gameplay loop, but the overall balancing - you mostly feel compelled to take the same weapons/stratagems depending on the frontier - there's little room for experimentation unless you like to keep dying. Though that is all my humble opinion, which I feel eventually slows down the fun.

Maybe those things change with the new difficulty 10 update. But I do hope the devs eventually do revise the weapons

God I love mining!

I realise it comes as a part of being EA, but I do hope we get some FPS boosts.

Overall though it's an incredible timesink, with a well crafted world
