I can no longer recommend this otherwise fine game due to the PSN account linking debacle. 5/4/2024 - over 100 hours diving.

5/6/2024 -- Sony changes course -- Back to recommended :)

August -- Escalation update sucks. Nerfed things I enjoyed and now I spend time getting batted around in a hentai by "impalers"

September/October -- Much better -- Wild coaster ride here.

I really love this game.

I actually appreciate the MP coop is different and a bit less "story" than single player -- its nice to log in with the mates and just go to town (hah) making the numbers go up. I can see a lot more development on the coop side happening too.

Combat is not the greatest but it is serviceable and vastly better than Portia -- I appreciate how far this team has come.

I bought this cause I hate gamers.

Aside from my brief salt below, this is a top 3 game of all time. No question.








I really hate this card matching segment.

Let me reiterate how much I hate this. I hate gambling, I hate being forced to gamble for a quest, I hate the AI cheating, I hate that a tie I always lose. I really like this game but this particular moment is pissing me off.

Setting destination to full recommend with the latest difficulty patch.

I have been thrilled with Everspace 2 and the direction ROCKFISH took the series. I just went through the starter sector again and am forcing myself to hold off until the game is fully out.
