The game crashed so hard, resulting in the deletion of my save files

*update: The developer created a custom save file for me and my friend, restoring our progress

me and my friend purchased this game and played as duo only (side note: it's really awesome and nice boolet hell replica of a game! another side note: we purchased on two diff PCs and played online.), and it was a nice experience until...
yepppppppppppp it happened folks, THE GAME CRASHED!
it was fine we boot it up again and played and beat the big boss man unlocked cool achievement... The game crashed again when we got on ship.
Reset and we played, on stage two... the game crashed.
my friend booted up the game and added me then in character select, the game crashed...
This was fine until... *drum roll* you never guessed it! THE GAME CRASHED SO HARD IT DELETED ALL PROGRESS FROM HIS PC OVER IN ESTONIA ALL THE WAY TO MIDDLE EAST IN IRAN!!!
YES! the game crashed soooooooooo damn hard, two seperate save files and game progress from half a globe away got wiped completely.
save yourself time and money and trust me don't buy. if you wanna know my rep and my opinion taste, know that i rated CS2 up and said the cheaters weren't that bad. this shows my high tolerance for BS in games. THIS GAME SO BAD THAT I CAME TO LEAVE A NEGATIVE COMMENT. IMAGINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

UPDATE:
The devs actually care and they help you restore your save files, just go to their discord server and issue your problems, they are super friendly and helpful.
They revived our save file and helped us gain back our progress!

Performance is absolutely unacceptable no matter your specs. Controls are awkward for no reason. Difficulty is absurdly inconsistent. Friendly fire that can't be disabled and is just annoying.

I don't understand why this game gets so many positive reviews.
