I would continue to play this game if not for the lag in the middle of every conversation. It may be my system, but that is no excuse. Bethesda REALLY needs to optimize this game fro EVERY system, at least as much as possible.

Plays better with at least one other player, but it is still fun alone.

While the gameplay is pretty good, the game is criminally short. Also, the first SCP is completely wrong. The other four seem to be accurate, though. It is a clever way of creating a story. However, there seems to have been a lack of content created. The ending is rather stupid as well. The PC seems to be some sort of bad Matrix reference, going so far as to have an actual "red pill/blue pill" moment. I would love to know what the other choice would do to the ending as my choice was rather anticlimactic. While the price was not terrible, it was still too high for a game with 4-10 hours of gameplay. I bought and downloaded the game last night (2 pm) and I finished it just now (1:30 pm). Had I not been interrupted several times for various reasons, I likely would have finished the game last night. If you like SCP content then this game is mildly entertaining. If you are expecting an epic game, you will be disappointed. 3/5

I remember being disappointed when I found out the original PC release was missing things which were in the Mac version. When this version was released and I found it would include the stuff Mac players got to experience, i was ecstatic. This is an amazing series. The very notion of a time machine that doesn't lead to the destruction of the time line (Ala BTTF) is such a wonderful take on the genre. If you grew up in the 90s playing Myst or 7th Guest, you might very well enjoy this game. I would love for Steam to have the sequels, but, for now, you can get them on gog.com. I can't recommend this game enough.
