I summarize the game based on the ones I own. The character aesthetics, controls, and looting-shooting elements are inspired by The Division 2, minus the cover mechanic. However, the character can dodge, jump, and swim, making it more flexible. The character creation is truly satisfying; it's almost as detailed as Black Desert Online, so with a bit of creativity, you can recreate your favorite celebrities. The apocalyptic environment and enemies remind me of Remnant: From the Ashes, with its Stranger Things-like entities and a world that collides with the supernatural. It features zombies and vehicle traversal similar to State of Decay, with its vast and empty map, so be prepared for some tedious travel. It also includes survival elements and a building system like Palworld, with small creatures called Deviants to assist with crafting and construction.

The server wipe is the most common issue people are complaining about. It can be frustrating for those who invest their time in the game to build the most powerful character. An unwiped server could be interesting in the long run if they continue updating content and expanding the storyline like The Division 2 does. However, if they don't expand the stories, repeating the same activities on the same server could become boring and feel aimless. It seems that wiping servers isn’t such a bad idea after all—starting fresh but with a more advanced head start.

For me, the issues are the overpriced cosmetics and the unimmersive lore, as they’ve included everything in the game: supernatural entities, wild animals, zombies, armed factions, banana trees, looming monolith, luxurious cottage, fancy anime-style outfits, etc. It feels like the game is losing its focus by trying to mix too many elements and genres. The pale, cold, bluish color palette also makes the environment seem unnatural and somewhat cheap.

That said, the game is still enjoyable. It may not be the ultimate game for me, but I certainly enjoy playing it and am excited to see how far the game will evolve with future updates.

You've played for 123 hours. Would you recommend this game to other players? Yes, absolutely!

As a first-timer in the Fallout series, I really enjoy this game. It has an engaging story with a good premise. It has a third-person view. It has character creation and customization, so you can create your dream girl as your main character. It has base building. It has a solid lore of a post-apocalyptic nuclear war. It has open-world exploration. It has zombies, also known as feral ghouls. And it has hundreds of mods you can install to make the game more fun and suited to your taste.

As someone longing to explore the charm of the Midwest in the United States, I must say, this game does a good job of satisfying that longing.

I actually catch a fever right after completing the game. The puzzle elements truly exhaust both my physical and mental well-being.

It's yet another platformer game that captures the nostalgic sensation of navigating a post-apocalyptic world, where one is left alone, feeling desperate yet hopeful.

This game isn't suitable for everyone. It's incredibly slow, I mean really, really slow. It can be a bit monotonous to perform tasks at such a snail-paced pace. However, I suppose that's the game's intention - to discourage rushing and find contentment in repeating the same routine every day. What really grabs my attention is the ambient music playing in the background; it's incredibly soothing and evokes a sense of nostalgia. It perfectly captures the game's dramatic and melancholic elements.

I didn't expect this game to be this good despite its mixed reviews. The mechanics and controls are smooth, the environment is truly amazing, and the RPG elements of the gameplay are quite satisfying. As a fan of character customization, I find the game offers engaging models. It's really enjoyable to create and build the characters.

The character customization allows me to create a badass version of Lara Croft who can engage in criminal activities, such as stealing cars, and even own a nightclub.
