Are you prepared to slay the spire?

Really addicting single player roguelike card building game.

Un juego de celular, que aunque en verdad fuera de celular no valdría la pena. La mecánica base del juego es entretenida, pero fue implementada de forma tan floja que no se puede recomendar, no le siento propósito alguno aquí en Steam, NOPE! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

It's a really good game, really fun to play, has some rpg elements that make the game really addicting (level, talents/skills).

I wouldn't say the game is for everyone tho, if you're interested in buying this game, check quest mode (and seasonal dungeon) and check if that is your thing.

Other modes are really lackluster, they need some serious overhaul.

I will start by saying: I love Vanilla Hat in Time.

What does the DLC bring to the table?
* Awesome and hard boss battles
* Really nice stages that make an spotlight the nice control and platforming you got in the game.
* Awesome music... A Hat in Time already had awesome music to begin with... but this DLC it's on another level tbh.
* Stylish hats, badges and paints for hat kid.
* New chapter, I would call the low note of the DLC, the seals are charming and their dialogue is "awwwwwwww", but the the chapter has too few stages and they kind of felt like a chore... I would've liked more death wishes on those maps. couldn't quite get used to the ship, but it is really big and has a lot of potential.

I've seen several people complain about the DLC difficulty, I'm pretty casual myself, have half the death wishes completed atm and I doubt I'll get to finish them all, still, I have been having a lot of fun trying them out... it can get frustrating? sure, but no need to pass the game in one go... I play a few hours each day, and then play something else to clear the mind... (Not that I get frustrated tbh, just let my mind clear to avoid mindblocks).

I would like to write a long review about the game, enumerating all the good points of the game and how this gme should cost way more and the gameplay and art are amazing, but I want to go back to play... so...

'It is a good game' should do.

If you already had DS:PTD this might not be worth the price. DSFix already fixed a lot of the graphic problems with the PC port we got before and this Remastered version does mostly the same: fix Graphics problems... 60 fps, better textures, mouse and keyboard is actually playable now. A lot of people felt betrayed by this version and it is understandable. If you already had Dark Souls, buy it at your own risk and be ready, you might regret it later.

Now what happens if you didn't have DS:PTD, well then this is another take on the game. The game is awesome, you should play this game at least once in your lifetime... really fun and challenging. You might feel frustrated after some hours of playtime, but believe me, passing this game feels really rewarding and there is a lot of stuff you can do, a lot... it's hard to be out of ideas to try out. The game has somewhat broken mechanics (Backstab and Dark Magic, I'm looking at you both), specially in pvp, but don't let it discourage you.

Another good point is that this remaster has brought a lot of new people and pvp is really fun right now (I don't like pvp myself, but it's hard to disagree with this point). Even if you already played Dark Souls before, if you decide to buy this game, do it NOW, before the new people leaves, it's the best time to be playing this game.
