Complete Trash. Do not buy it lol.

It's fun for the several first hours but then it just becomes very tedious. cleaning ink money is just such a long process. I got the game for about $11, so I think I got most of my fun out of it. I did enjoy a lot of what I played. I didn't beat the game, but felt like I had enough of it.

At the end of the day it does feel like work and that's when I don't want to play anymore.

So I finished the game, and let me tell you I DID NOT LIKE IT.

It was a SUPER grind. I finished Dragon quest 1 & 2 on the Nintendo switch, and didn't complete the 3rd on the Switch because I was waiting for this release to come out.

I used a guide while playing this game, but for the most part you don't need to because it does show you where to go (for the most part).

I think this game will probably be great for returning players. For new players to Dragon Quest 3, there might be some things that can tick you off.

1. When you get the bird to fly around, you loose the ability to fly in the purple area (where you fight the final boss) very quickly. I can't explain how bad this feels to loose flying once again. I honestly, don't care about the lore to it and what not. I put in so many hours, then for the rest of the game, I can no longer fly around. It is a terrible feeling. Actually surprised I don't see much about this on the Steam reviews.

2. The "small" amount of GP you get from mobs. Even while using the Merchant class. This is a things that if you research online you will see the same complaint. The devs literally make you DIE grinding your eyes out for gold to buy gear. Like I understand JRPGs have grinds, but man, its pretty wild in this game, like dog water, eye bleeding grind. It is literally a 2d sprite game, not much eye candy, and its constantly mashing a button grind. Grinding in games isn't new to me, but man its pretty dead dry in this game.

3. The sense of progression in this game is kind of messed up, like I was saying with the bird earlier, sometimes it just doesn't feel like your getting stronger and your always hitting your head on a wall, because the next dungeon has harder mobs, so once again your grinding to get better gear.

4. Monster Wrangler class is beyond OP. With the difficultly spikes in this game, do not think not going all Monster Wrangler in your party. Just make it easier for yourself so you can AoE all the mobs in one turn pretty much.

5. (I think this has to do with it being an OLD JRPG) But there are stats on items that are NOT explained in the game. You will need to check the internet to understand what some gear actually does. That isn't too bad I guess, but it would have been nice that it explained everything in the game.

I'm not sure what to say about this game. I forced myself to finish it, because I finished Dragon 1 & 2 and wanted to finish the 3rd one as well. I didn't have much fun in this game. I really enjoyed D1 & D2, but this one... not so much. I think maybe because I felt like it was a little drawn out for no reason? I mean, it doesn't really have much of a story. It is there, but its like not greatly explained?

I wish Steam reviews had like a "Middle" review, or like an "OKAY" review? I would only recommend this game to a new Dragon quest 3 player if you can get this on sale... (very cheap as well) and that your okay with getting your party killed because of some crazy RNG.

Regardless, I will not recommend this game on Steam because well I enjoyed it for 20 hours, then after NOPE.JPG. But if you want a SUPER classic JRPG? I mean this is it? But if you think your going to get annoyed because every monster is attacking you randomly, then maybe this isn't the game for you. (Yes, they have Holy water to help, but your still going to get annoyed).

I finished this on the PS5 and now on PC. The game is such a well made game. It is worth the high reviews it is getting. There is some filler content, but still I loved so much of the game. I think everyone should play it. The sound track is amazing as well. It is a masterpiece in my book.

02/28/2025 - Finished the DLC last night. It isn't bad, not that long either. You can really stretch it and do everything and it will be longer than a couple hours. I think I finished it in like 3 hours at max? I just wanted to play it to learn about Yuffie before going into rebirth.

Overall, I think Final Fantasy 7 remake is a great game. I didn't like it at first when I played it on PS5, but going through it again, I noticed so much more about the game. I think maybe because I rushed it more on the PS5. The game does have good and bad parts, but I think all games do. There is no perfect games.

It's a good game but the United States servers do not work. Only China servers work and if you try playing on them, you will lag like crazy. Do not buy it for online play.

I have been using the Dec 5 nvidia driver version 556.36

My motherboard is the MSI x870 tomohawk and it is on the latest BIOs update.

edit: After playing for a total of 4 hours of gameplay... my game crashed while loading a new map and made my computer blue screen.

1:1 copy of Overwatch. Just play the real thing, the quality is better as well. There are so many heroes in this game that play exactly like the ones in Overwatch. Kind of wish Overwatch would copy their character designs. They know how to make the women good in Marvel Rivals unlike Overwatch.
