MASSIVE RECOMMEND

Luma Island continues to blow me away constantly, I can really feel the devs cared alot about the small details. I keep getting surprised at the lengths the devs went for QOL and making it well explained.

For a massive, HUGE, first good point, the inventory is INFINITE. So many games have unbearably small inventories, this game just scrolls and scrolls, allowing you to hoard to your hearts intent.

Next off is the help it gives in figuring out how to obtain things, every item in your inventory, when hovered over, ittl show a short gif above on obtaining it, a short but descriptive description, a category, and, IMPORTANT, a sell price! So many games make me walk my FAT ass over to the shop to see how much an item is worth, but the game just shows me.

Next is the small details, one of the most recent things that blew me away is: fences of different types connect seamlessly! I wanted to place some stone and wood fences in my Luma pen to add some variety, and I thought "wait, no way these connect" and when I placed them I was blown away, it sounds so goofy, but so many games miss these small details. The game is full of things like this, well thought out systems and nice attention to detail

Next (i say next alot) is the multiplayer. The multiplayer just works, no issue, no fuss. Friend booted up a world and I asked for an invite and he said "I probably have to do the tutorial first" sent and invite and was surprised, so many games make you play through a long ass 30 minute tutorial before you can invite your friend, but in this? I joined instantly.

The multiplayer is also completely functional, it works flawlessly. We have had ZERO* multiplayer issues, zero issues with ping, and we live a continent apart. So many games have things feeling slightly janky or delayed due to ping, but not this game. *had a small desync with a floating platform where he floated lmao

Ill update the review more when I remember stuff I love about this game, but as it is now, if youre looking for a chill cute game to play alone or with a friend, pick this damn game up now. It being on sale makes it the biggest bargain, what a wonderful experience this game is!

The latest update really screwed up my experience. Half of my cars kick me back to the menu whenever I try to start a race. The game shows no issues in the car stats screen, but for some reason, I just canā€™t use themā€”no errors, no warnings, just an abrupt return to the menu.

The building mode is slow and tedious, and the camera during races is a real battle. None of the camera modes feel right, and I end up fighting the camera more than my opponents.

For now, Screw Drivers is too rough around the edges. Iā€™d recommend waiting until itā€™s more polished before giving it a spin.

Spent a while designing my masterpiece, my magnum opus, and when it came time to export my car in to beamng it got stuck on "sourcing lua data". Me, being patient, left it to run for a while, but unbeknownst to me, the game was filling my drive with a log file multiple GigaBytes in size, I am not particularly pleased with SSD life lost to this game or my time lost since I just wasted my time creating a masterpiece that will never see the light of day. Very disappointed. Do not recommend.

It's not really possible for me to write a genuinely positive review for the game in its current... position...

I feel like the game is actually in the best state its ever been in... game wise... however, the game is extremely lacking in players, which is kind of a big issue for an MMO.

The problem is that AGS took until players left to actually listen to feedback, thus putting the game into its current state, great, but without a player base behind it. Because everyone had given up, and gone to something else.

I can not recommend purchasing the game currently. We will see how anything ive put here changes when 'New World - Aeternum' or whatever releases.

but yeah, big sadge. I loved this game when it came out, and its sad that its gotten to its current state.

Is this game a full-on masterpiece like some people claim? No, it has its issues.

But is it one of the best games I've ever played? Yes

Every inch of the Elden Ring world looks amazing, it was a joy to find a new location and just look around. It felt like everywhere you went there was something to find, be it an item, boss, hidden location, dungeon etc. The way the world has been built makes you want to explore all of it, just to see if you can find something you missed. The game also doesn't hold your hand, you want to do a quest, and you need to find the location or item yourself. If you want to take on a boss, you need to work out the levels you need. All of that just adds to the feeling that you're on your own adventure.

Now with the combat... It's satisfying, you can really feel how FromSoftware has slowly evolved their combat mechanics over time. With that, there is a huge amount of weapons and ways you can build your class. You can run this game multiple times, and each time play it a different way to the last.

My only big issue with this game is the movement of your character, it can feel clunky, and as the game has you jumping around a lot, this can get a little frustrating.

On the frustrating note, some people might be a little pushed away from this game, as it's hard. The game is only really as hard as you make it. If you're not very good, and you're struggling with a boss. Then spend more time levelling up, and looking for weapons. You can out-level bosses in this game.

This is a game, that even with all the hype around it massively surpassed my expectations. If you're thinking about picking it up, just do it. The only thing you'll regret is when you complete the game, and you have nothing left to do.

This review was written by SleepingTea, but It's how I felt so i'm just copying it.

It was really fun to play at first but as you progress you just encounter weird bug after bug. Had spaceships inventories / entire existence merge into one ship, Multiplayer exists but is a mess,
Was doing a nexus mission with a friend, one of the enemies bugged out and became invisible and when it killed them it crashed their game making all their stuff vanish, I went and finished the mission solo after but when entering the nexus i slammed into another ship which softlocked my game and made me have to reload my save but reloading my save caused it to abort the mission so not only were all of my friends items deleted. We both completely wasted our time. Honestly I really enjoyed the game but it really annoys me, I cannot recommend playing it in its current state unless you are very masochistic. I would hold off and see if they make any big bug fixes / multiplayer fixes before trying to play. i have played an additional 13 hours and my opinion is the same.

This game is great. Actually one of the best games I have ever played.

While playing this game I have encountered many small bugs / issues that were annoying and had caused me to complain about it, There were a lot of things that I thought, "Why is it like this" or "Why is it not like that" and there was a point I got really annoyed early in and almost quit. I am glad I did not. This game is by far one of the best games I have ever played. After playing this game I had tried to play ARK for a bit but was unable to enjoy it because so much of it is just so much worse than this game. Valheims Health and Stamina system seemed really annoying at first, but once you figure out how it works its really good. The entire time I was playing ARK I was thinking about how much better Valheim was.

Valheim is great in pretty much every single part.

When we first went to the swamp we got our ā™„ā™„ā™„ā™„ kicked in but now its really satisfying to be able to go and kick the swamps ā™„ā™„ā™„ā™„ in. The games progression is done really well, Even if a lot of parts require a lot of effort there is just so much satisfaction about watching yourself massacre all of the creatures that once caused you so much pain. Iron gathering can be a little bit annoying at first but after getting geared up with better armor and weapons just strolling through the crypts gathering iron isn't that bad.

This games building system was annoying at first with our ceiling falling in on itself but after building with it for a bit I really like it. You are able to build some really nice builds with it. Its really satisfying watching our once small abode slowly scale out into a small town. I am really excited for the "Hearth and Homes" update to expand our current building ability in the game.

Overall Valheim is just one of the best games I think I have played and it is so easy to just sink my time into it since there is always so much to do.

I can fully recommend picking up this game if you have someone to play it with, I have always played it with someone else so I cannot comment on it as a singleplayer game but as a coop experience it is among the best.

I highly recommend Warframe, especially if you have a friend who's already into it or a group of friends looking to dive in together. The game offers an almost endless depth of content, thanks to years and years of updates that havenā€™t stripped away old content (crazy concept, right?). Itā€™s a beautiful game with satisfying combatā€”not necessarily in-depth or hugely engaging, but when your screen is full of numbers after detonating a hallway, thatā€™s peak gaming.

The modding system is fantastic, allowing you to fine-tune the stats you care about to fit specific builds. Being able to decide how you want to play a frame and then modding specific stats to reinforce that playstyle is incredibly rewarding.

On the downside, the game doesnā€™t do the best job of helping new players. However, with the recent change in creative leadership, thereā€™s been a massive focus on improving the new player experience and quality of life. Still, it can be tough to get into without someone to guide you. That said, the community is EXTREMELY nice. There are two endgames in Warframe: Fashion and helping new players.

Overall, I can really recommend giving the game a try if you have a friend whoā€™s already into it a bit, or if you just want to wing it and give it a go.
