I was very excited for this game and I am mostly enjoying it so far. Exploring is fun and there are a lot of visually interesting and very cool areas. However, the A-Life system just isn't there. The system that makes the original games and mods like Anomaly work is not present. The world of STALKER is supposed to feel alive even without player involvement. In STALKER 2, enemies spawn in constantly just a few feet away from you. They dont move around or live their own lives outside of important story areas and random landmarks. If you spend more than a few minutes in an area you will have multiple groups of enemies respawn one after the other. It is unsure if the system (which they confirmed would be in the game) is very bugged or if they never actually implemented it. I dont think it will completely ruin the game for most people, but big STALKER fans will be very disappointed. The performance is iffy with big frame drops as well even on a good computer. There is clearly a lot of love put into this game and I appreciate the effort. It just feels like STALKER visually but not really in gameplay.

Fantastic DLC. It was very difficult, but there were many measures in place (plus everything from the base game) that made it much more accessible. The DLC is very difficult from the start, however and it is less obvious than the base game how to make yourself stronger to level the playing field. Overall I think the bosses were very very fair (as long as you leveled). My main complaint was that I leveled TOO MUCH before some of the main bosses due to no lock on exploration. I explored a lot and leveled a lot. A couple of the later bosses are glass cannons (at least in my opinion) and so I killed some of them by just tanking with my defense from leveling. Regardless, all the bosses except the last one were so insanely cool and really well designed. The last boss is too AOE spammy and too chaotic to be fun. The drops in framerate they cause and poor visibility due to their model and holy attacks made them absolutely awful to fight. If they make the boss a little less ridiculous and fixed the performance I think they would be very fun. The amount of new areas is a little overwhelming, and it felt like playing the base game discovering new things in every little corner of the map. 10/10 DLC when they balance things a little and fix the frame drops

Great game though I want to have a long discussion with the fromsoft employee that thought demon of hatred was a good idea.

System shock remake is everything I hoped it would be (and more). As a fan of the original SS it was an absolute joy to see just how faithful the remake is. However, I must admit this faithfulness and i'm assuming a lack of development time for later parts of the game cause it to fall flat a bit near the end. Both games suffer from combat balance issues that cause frustration. I hope that the fixes that Nightdive brings to the ending bring with it some combat re balancing because this game truly deserves to end on a high note. I was absolutely enthralled with the game up until the last few levels. This game is a little overly faithful imo and even after playing the original twice I still forgot some of the objectives. If you're used to games that hold your hand then system shock might be a tough swallow. However, if you let yourself get immersed and have patience to explore everything, then system shock is incredibly rewarding.

They announced microtransaction in-game currency. Tencent got its grubby hands on the game.

I wasn't really expecting much from this game. When it first was revealed I had no idea why people were so excited. After playing the witcher games I finally understood why and I decided to try Cyberpunk out. Even after really enjoying witcher 1 and 3 I was still a little skeptical but I have to say I enjoyed this game quite a lot. It isn't perfect but I had very little issues with bugs other than the fov not resetting and some call only quests being annoying to start. Can't say I recommend it for full price but it is definitely worth on sale.

Am too lazy to grind for iri shards. If you have the shards don't buy this or just straight up don't get the killer at all. She is one of the worst designed killers and will probably continue to be the worst performing killer for a long time. She may end up getting the Trickster treatment but it would require more than just changes to her numbers.

Great game but the servers were down for over 200 days with little change. Pvp exploits are still rampant and vulnerabilities allow hackers to still destroy saves and get their opponents banned. Play online at your own risk.
