I don't even know where to start. Maybe stating that this mess isn't really a Civilization game and they shouldn't have used Sid name. I've been playing and enjoying Civilization since 1991. I played the first one more than anything for years and absolutely loved the second and fifth ones, those three were my favourites but I still enjoyed Civs 3, 4 and even 6 more recently. Some are better than others, but at least they were all somewhat faithful to its origins.

Civilization 7, on the other hand, may look like a Civ game on surface too, but it's in fact nothing like it. Unlike any other Civ the advanced setup isn't at all advanced; we can't play on large maps; can't set the type of victory; can't set scouts or any other unit to automatically explore; the UI is absolutely terrible and gigantic, clearly scaled up to 1080p; the changing of ages are a horrendous experience, making the overall game feel like three poor mini-games. And above all, they killed the "one more turn" concept. Maybe they were aware that the game was so bad that they decided to remove that option in the end. So now, the game just finishes abruptly at the end of the modern age leaving you only with the option to return to main menu. It's really that awful.

This is by far the very worst Civilization rip-off I've ever played, and I've played many since the 90s. The complete edition costs 130€ right now, and after trying out a full game I would still find it very expensive if I had paid 13€ on sale.

*UPDATE*

A month after the troubled launch, instead of having some improvements and bug fixes, the developers released update 1.1.0 to introduce an unrequested and horrible animation in the pointing hexagon, instead of trying to make it more subtle it became highly intrusive now. They also infested the game with unbearable noises in the interface: now wherever you move the mouse over something, you get some annoying sound, really terrible while using headphones. If the game was already bad at launch, it's even worse now. There is definitely no solution to this garbage. And it's a shame, because in the midst of so many disgusting decisions, some things, like the battle system, are really good, but this doesn't seem to be going in the right direction, quite the opposite.

I'm still halfway through the stories at this point, but I'm already in awe of everything and extremely excited for what could come next. Not only is this an amazing piece of entertainment with a terrific story telling, but it's also the closest you can now get to the best era of science fiction cinema that ended about two decades ago.

State of Decay 2 was really, really amazing. It was as fun as the first State of Decay but way better visually. A couple of years after the release on Steam, suddenly, for no known reason, the developers decided to completely change the visual style of the game and force the update to all players with absolutely no respect for their choice. The game now look absolutely awful: the light, contrast and colour are horrible in comparison to the original release. We can now say that State of Decay 2 is in a state of decay.

If you haven't purchased the game yet, don't trust the beautiful and colourful screenshots you see here in the Steam presentation. The game no longer looks like this. Now it looks dull, tasteless and banal.

This is even worse than the base game. This DLC is absolutely unplayable, unless you only get Dark Ages. If you manage to get many Golden Ages you basically end up stuck with 999+ turns to build any districts in the late game, after hundreds of turns. It's really impossible to play this trash. This trash is so bugged that it shouldn't even legal.

I really loved this game. I played it more than 1000 hours since it was release. It was the best card game I ever played. Almost flawless.

Unfortunately today Bethesda released an update with a new game design and interface that completely destroyed the game. It was so drastic that I feel now that it dropped among the worst card games you can find. It's childish, noisy, bad looking with a higly incompetent interface.

I hope they let us access the old design, meanwhile I can't recommend this trash any longer.

*update*

Seems that the game is no longer updated. :(

I've been playing Civilization for 25 years, and there are no other game that I enjoy more to play. I'm perfectly aware that all civs have problems on release, and over the time they always made it perfect, I'm counting with it too on this one, and I believe that Civilization VI will become a great game, but at this point, the game is not yet playable, it's very nice in the first hours, but soon, the lack of a zoom out and the huge icons bad designed and placed over the units will turn it into an annoying experience. Wait a few months if you want to play it, but at this point it feels more like a good game in an early beta test with an awfully childish design.

it's very disappointing to find out that they are clearly doing fraud on the advertisement to get money fast. the game was announced with the following minimum specs:

OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
Processor: Intel Core i3
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: nVidia GTX 480, AMD Radeon 7870

i'm playing on a machine with the following specs:

OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i7
Memory: 20 GB RAM
Graphics: nVidia GTX 480

and with the settings on the image i can't get more than 10FPS.

i still believe that the game might be good, but i'll not be able to know, at least for a few years. this game require much better systems than the ones that they are announcing. they just stole 59,99€ from me with their lies and the stupid false advertisement - which makes this the worst buy i ever did on steam in 12 years.

i wasn't expecting to play the game with great resolutions, but i believed that i would be able to play it at least at 800x600 in low detail. i feel really cheated.
