Game is good but relatively short (<30 hours easily if you don't spend all your time building..). The exploration is good but I wish there was more puzzle dungeons and especially monster variety across the current 4 biomes. They also seem to have front loaded at lot of the progression in the game and so after 10 hours or so it mostly feels like you are upgrading the same functionality and not getting any new functionality. Gliding around is fun but you can do that from <30 minutes into the game. The building aspect of the game is probably the best part and where you will get the most bang for your buck. Some friends and I finished the 'end game' content (final boss and sun temples) in literally less than a week from the start of the game playing 3-4 hours each evening.

Very good game for the genre overall. Only thing really that quirks me from the play through is that they artificially made the world very big by reusing (sometimes five times over or more!) a lot of game assets, including bosses. It would be much better in my opinion if there were much less duplication and a smaller world.

As a novice to the genre I also would not mind an easier game 'mode' that specifically didn't rob you of your runes when you died. Dying 20+ times to the same boss/area is hard enough, losing a lot of runes on top of that is hard on the soul and just creates a lot of anxiety for me that took away from the enjoyment of the game.

Great game the first time through, Maybe 2-3 times if you heavily mod it. Much better the first time through with others new folks.

After that the replayability is quite poor since the sense of exploration/unknown is not there anymore. Modders have created much more content than the actual developers since the game launched in 2021 which is quite sad since the game has a lot of potential. Now you know

quality 4x game.

Going to be the best turn-based CRPG yet. The writing and voice acting is top notch.
