While not as smooth and buttery as XCOM2, Phoenix Point has some really interesting mechanics, somewhat deeper, but also different enough if you like a tactics games with a sci-fi twist.

Just as good as Tekken 7, but looks a lot better. Still the same absurd story, and over-the-top saved by a fun 3D combat system.

Probably my most frustrating and favorite gaming experience of the year. Also - story is wonderful, characters are well drawn, and I keep dying.

Very much a Bethesda game, but one of the better Bethesda's games. So far, runs well on my cardboard box of a gaming laptop on low, and Steamdeck on low. Hopeing to play again with a better rig.

If you can get past the bugs, it's an interesting side-quel to the XCOM series, and worth the price. Feels like a testing ground for Firaxis.

That said, the cast of characters is a welcome change, these hero characters are made to be engaging. Campster referred to it as "Brooklyn 99 in the XCOM Universe" and that's apt.

One of the best the series has to offer.

Heat Signature is like a breath of fresh air for someone who likes choice, systems, and just tense emergent gameplay. It gets you right into it - play as procedurally generated mercenaries as they slowly take down multiple factions. Vary in playstyle from completely lethal to completely stealthy.

Think Dishonored and HITMAN meets Hotline: Miami. In Space. With teleporters, pods, and scaling tactical and twitch challenge.

Yep it's Tekken. More Tekken.

On PC.

Exactly what I wanted.

Lots of Tekken.

Tekken is my favorite fighting game of all time. I'm not great at it, but it's fun. And Tekken is nuts. 3D fighting means sidestepping, arena fighting, circling one another. Xiaoyu is my main, she's quick, but not efficient. Fits my need to dodge and get out of the way.

Early Access Review
Yeah - uh - this game is great. Take the classic (it's not old enough to be classic) Battle Royale mod and - don't change a thing...

It's survival battle royale gameplay without crafting or other nonsense. No bug hunting since the circle of engagement closes over time.

SOme of the most tense gameplay I've ever had.

I play it to meditate.

As a pacifist.

It puts the fist in pacifist.

Worse than terrible.
An endless runner - er driver - with the mechanics of Speed, and not at all fun.
