I cannot stress enough how much I loved this production, even though I hated point-and-click games my entire life, this one's really special!
The most appealing aspect of this game is the magnificent art style which warms your heart every time you look at it. All, from backgrounds to tiny NPCs, is meticulously hand-drawn and it gives this whole production a natural and calming vibe. Every animation, which there are plenty, feels like a reward you get just by playing it, it's so pleasing to watch!
The story itself is quite captivating, you watch as this young dinosaur gets lost in a pursue for a perfect gift for her mother's birthday, you help her overcome many obstacles and dangerous predicaments but you still find time to make some friends along the way! Very charming!

Even if you're not a fan of point-and-clicks, like I was, please give it a go, it's one of those hidden gems on Steam that deserves much more recognition, it's clearly made by people driven by passion and love, doing what they do best.

Honestly this is one of the best games I ever played and there are many reasons why I think that.
First of all, it's a perfect co-op game, just gather your friends and get to work together, fight off hordes of aliens and discover new technologies or just wander around and explore - you choice, either way it's a lot of fun!
Second... The number of said technologies you can unlock in this game is just enormous, from simple, even crude mining to nukes and sending rockets into space! Everyone will find something interesting! Crafting is also worth mentioning here
because of it's complexity but also simplicity in the same time, you can just craft stuff in your hands but the game also gives you necessary tools to make the production automatic. Tired of all that hard work? No problem! Send some drones to do it for you!
Last of all, the game looks really nice, runs smoothly and without any problems, at least in my case. Private servers are stable and easy to manage. You can start on your own and then, after some progress, invite your friends to your world so they can admire your creations.
I would really recommend this game to... frankly... just anyone especially when you have some buddies to play with!

My favourite and one of the best roguelike games especially if you're into crazy guns. After 100h of playing there are still things for me to unlock, new characters, new weapons, items etc. I would recommend it to enyone who either likes to really sink into a game or just needs something short and quick for a break.

This game is amazing, so calm and chilling... something perfect to unwind after a tough day.
I bought it when it was still in Early Access and it's very admirable that the developers, even after releasing their product, are keep adding new stuff to it.
A little gem in the steam garbage festival.

Heyo everybody!

I just wanted to say few words about this production.

If you don't want to go through my whole review then I'll say it up front - Deus Ex Mankind Devided is a very good game, worth at least trying, especially if you liked the first part of the "new" Deus Ex game series. It gives you many hours of great gameplay mixed with some emotional baggage. It's also worth its price, as I said, it gives you a lot to do (in my case it was over 35h, without extensions) where, for example, you can get roughly 7-10h of predictable and heavy scripted gameplay from any CoD game... for the same price.

If you're still reading then I can give you some details.

First of all.... about the technical issues... many people seemed to hate this game for bad optimalization, crashes (...and microtransactions... oh, and those mean DLCs) and I get that but focusing only on one thing, when a game has much more to offer beyond that, it's not very mature (and not fair either).

The fact is that now, after few (maybe a bit more than just "few") months from the grand premiere, I can't really say it really matters. For me, it was running good and pretty smoothly (on an average gaming laptop, not top-shelf stuff, far from it), it crashed - yes, but only once and it didn't bothered me because the game saved my progress a second before, so I didn't lose any progress. Yes, it shouldn't happen even once, it's a big AAA title after all and it should work flawlessly no matter what but the truth is that this is how most of the pc games novadays are and unfortunately we have to live with it and get used to it. Sad... but true so let's leave that aside.

About those DLCs and microtransactions... this is something I really hate about this game, not how the developers designed them... (well... that too) but the fact that they exist in general. First new Deus Ex didn't have any of these shenanigans, didn't need them and it was fine, people loved the game for its depth, its uniqueness and everyone was happy. I guess they did that because that's what matters today, putting microtransactions everywhere... mleh.

If you came this far in my review you probably think... okay, so far you talk only about flaws and you still like and recommend this game? Well... the answer is - of course!

Because as I said, this game has much more to offer.

Adam Jensen - our protagonist, didn't change at all (apart from new augments) and in this case it's a good thing, they didn't "corrupt" him in any way, he's still good, old (and still a bit depressed...) Jensen that we've known from the previous game.

Another thing is the main plot. I don't want to spoil anything so I can only say that it lets you sink in pretty badly. For me, it was well contructed and pretty immersive. Moral choices shatter your soul to pieces because it seems like nothing you choose is good... shades of gray instead of boring "black and white" choices - nice!

I should also say something about the world we are being put into. It's small, nothing compared to maps known from Ubisoft games for example... but I guess that's what makes it unique. In most cases, huge locations look nice at first but in time they get pretty dull because they're practically empty or filled with stupid collectables, just to kill some time and extand the gameplay's length. Here, you have a much smaller map but it makes things much more... intimate (don't look at me like that!). It seems more... "alive" with much more details put into it and great story behind it. Sometimes bigger doesn't mean better and this case proves that statement.

It also leads me to another thing... level design. It allows you to accomplish your goals in many different ways (some of them are really well hidden). I beat the game completely on stealth and I recommend this approach because it gives you much more opportunites for exploring and finding nice loot but if you prefer a noisy way, the developers prepared a pretty nice armory filled with various tools of destruction, such as assault rifles, automatic shotguns and grenade launchers... and of course some deadly augments! Hooah!

They also added a crating system but it's pretty basic and doesn't change the gameplay too much. The hacking minigame gets pretty insufferable after few first hours of playing... like in previous Deus Ex - nothing new here. What about music? Still keeping its standards, very similar to what we were listening to in Human Revolution.

I think that will be all, I probably missed some things but I didn't want to bore you all. In summary - this game has some flaws, like any other game, that's nothing new, but it's really worth your time. A proper sequel to Deus Ex Human Revolution!

Before I start, I have to say something, if you're looking for some short review of this game, this is probably not the right place to search but I'd like to encourage you to read those "few" words I have in my mind for quite some time.

The game itself is a work of art, a masterpiece, practically made by one man who just wanted to show and share his story, it took him almost 4 years to make it real. It's not just a simple platform/slasher game with a pinch of RPG. This game gives you what AAA games don't, when you play it, it stays in your mind and your heart for a long time, you just can't stop thinking about the main characters and their quest until you turn this game on again. Then, after 15-20 hours of playing which is a very long time for an indie game, the end comes leaving us with emptiness and one thought in mind... why it had to end so "quickly"?

But that's enough of my jabbering, lets talk about the structure of this game.

The playthrough gives you a lot of pleasure, both of fighting hundreds of enemies and of finding well-hidden secrets or collecting your "friends". You can reach some of them only before the final bossfight, which is a great opportunity to backtrack a little and find out what we missed during our journey. Exploring the world isn't something that the game force you to do, you just want to do it yourself. Why? Because the environment is just marvelous.

A hand-made graphics and backgrounds are one of the biggest advantages of this production because it looks like a fairy tale that you can live in. You can explore it and admire such a fantastic and well-planned world. Every single location has its own charm and atmospfere without any unneccessary elements that could distruct us. Literally, every little piece of it is in the right place.

Of course this game has some flaws and bugs but it just doesn't matter when you're experiencing such a wonderful adventure.

And lets say something about it. You can't say a bad word about the main plot, if that was a movie, the author would definitely receive an oscar for it. The enjoyable mixture of both main and side quests gives you a wide range of every known and unknown feelings human ever had. I'd like to say it that way... from happines to sadness with sorrow and anger along the way in only 10 seconds.

Let me say something about soundtrack too. Maybe while beating opponents to death, it's hard to pay attention to music playing in the background but when we stop slaughtering everything around, it's nice to hold on for a second, watch the view and listen to those wonderful tracks. This music is magic and it fits perfectly but listening to it without playing Dust is as much pleasurable. Ideal for a quiet, alone night with a cup of tea...

And at the end... what about the fighting system? At the beginning you might think that simple sword-swinging combined with jumping isn't going to drag your interest for long, even if it looks astonishing, but during the game we can find various of unique moves and techniques that can provide new ways of making incredible hit-combos up to 1000 hits!

There's much more I would like to say about this game but no amount of simple words can express the way I feel after playing this, for me, perfect in any aspect, game. I hope my review will give you a proper answer to the question: "Is this game worth playing?"

And one last thing, you may think that 15 euro for this game is a little too much and you may be right, you can just buy it in a bundle or wait for a discount but... this game is worth much more... 15 euro is nothing for such an experience like this that not many games can give you, really, honestly.

Thanks for your time and have fun, you'll have it, that's for sure.
