Yeah, Liked it a lot. Well built story driven game with some free roam and freedom of choice elements. Plenty of variety in combat builds. I went with Eviscerator (there is a well written very in depth steam guide)... which was a fun challenge the first play through considering I went the Pacifist route, not killing/feeding on any of the NPC you can dialog with. Choosing to be hostile and feeding on the people - this built is insanely OP. 2 play throughs needed for full achievements.

I played the *bleep* out of this game. 100% achievements, all endings and not even frustrating to do it.
Enjoyable to cruise around, cataloging your catches and being an absolute chad fisherman...
Well some might disagree on whether the main character is a chad or a villain. I recommend you play it and decide for yourself.

Good Game. Lots of content. Nice progression & plenty of personality options to choose your own path.
Lack of voice choices. I agree with another review on how every male voice sounds like a variation of Harry Potter and great voice acting with the rest of the NPCs.
A bit GPU demanding to run on systems ~5 years old. Still looks good on lower settings if you need the boost in Frame rate, like I did, to prevent slowdowns or loading lag.
I have a GeForce GTX 1660 6G so maybe I'm just starting to feeling the age of my GPU.
i5-9400 CPU and 32GB DDR4 RAM and no issues running the game with other applications open on other monitors.

Right off the bat... yes there are pay to win elements. Do they effect the PvP competitive side of the game = NO they do not.
I don't agree or disagree with paying real money to assist with your character's PVE progress. If you feel the need to speed through the game content, to feel PVE Stronger and try to experience everything the game has to offer in a short time frame, then pull out your credit card and roll that RNG.

There is a lot to love about Lost Ark and just sink into the game for the long haul. Play it yourself for free. See what you think about the mechanics, story and beautifully designed world around you.
As of this review I think I have close to 90 hours played. I've spent some money on mounts and skins and I am ABSOLUTELY getting my money's worth. How much does going out to eat cost? Movie theater? How many hours of enjoyment do you get from those things? This is entertainment. Spend your money how you want or be a Free to Play champion. It's your choice and will have no affect on anyone but you, and that's great.

Never played the original. This has been as good transition to the modern age.
Hardly any bugs. Don't expect this to play like Witcher 3: Wild Hunt but if you're looking to complete the series, like me, you'll still enjoy yourself without trying to poke your eyes out in frustration.
*After additional 25 hours played**
- Absolute banger of a game. It just gets better as you go further through the story. Own your decisions and reap their outcomes!

p.s. An Innkeeper tells the full story of Cirilla from The Netflix Witcher Series. So far the Netflix series has been extremely accurate to this story told by the Innkeeper. Seems like the whole series was based off just this 1 random NPC dialog encounter haha.

If you want to play through all of the RE Story, you cannot skip this one. Pretty well done. Graphics are good for a game from '98 except the cinematic cut scenes (Grainy & some screen tearing).

Controls will take some getting used to. Don't expect a WASD w/ mouse point & click to shoot option.
I used keyboard but it claims there is Full controller support. I don't know what that's like.

Cool story, funny dialog, soundtrack fits game well, lots of blood, great mind @#$%, good replay-value and I bought it with a discount coupon which makes every game 10% better.
