An interesting take on the Souls-Like genre.

The random interlocking grids make the game interesting to play through multiple times.
An interesting variety of bosses and events.

DLC would definitely make the game more interesting as long as it isn't over priced and under developed.

Right now this game is entirely ruined by not only poor design but the players.

The map may be huge and offer huge choices of where to build, but it is really easy for people to abuse it. When I tried to play, one of the decently large islands had been entirely claimed by just a few people just by making it so there were only two ways onto the island that were heavily defended and then just used the terraforming mechanics to make it impossible to climb anything.

And because the servers are persistant, none of the changes players make ever go away so the people who have been playing the longest have enacted huge changes all over the map, there is barely any place for new players to go and get started.

A terrible game in which the devs never bothered to finish anything.
