I love this game, and am also a big fan of Starship Troopers (book and 1st movie), but I really hate what Sony is doing now by forcing Steam users to join their ecosystem.

If Playstation membership had been mandatory when I bought this game on Steam, I would not have purchased it!! It is a greedy, unfair and etically unacceptable act by Sony (even if their legal terms tries to make it possible). It is literally altering the deal after it has been made (it did not work well even for Darth Vader;-).

I also do not want another client running on my PC just for one game. I did not use it before and will not do it for this game either. There are a few hundred other games in my Steam library to choose from until Sony is tought to forget these business tricks and to respect their players (even if they play on PC). Shame on you Sony!

Big apology to Arrowhead for the negative review! You guys made a very fun game (loved the first episode as well). I hope it's just temporary and Sony will come to its senses.

For Democracy! For Super Earth!

*edit: just 2 typos and making 2 sentences clearer

UPDATE: "Sony reversed course earlier this morning and will no longer require PC players to link to a PSN account." says multiple news sites, so it seems we won this time. Changing the review into positive. Hail Helldivers players!

Let's go back to some bug killin'! Democracy will not spread itself!

It's the surprise of the year for me. Bought it on a winter sale for many kids in my family plus for my brother and for myself. 6 copies for under 25EUR, first I thought it was a bargain, but turned out it's also a really hilarious game with lots of fun in multiplayer.

Sailing together on a ship we built together, fighting pirates, hunting, trading, searching for treasures, doing quests. It was extremely fun to explore the game with friends. (Finding out together how to gather resources, how to craft things, reading all the messages found in different books, "living in the adventure" adds so much to the enjoyment of this little masterpiece, so I suggest not to use wikis or web search to beat the game fast, instead just explore it for yourselves. Riddles, quests, enemies - they are all not too hard.)

My only negative experience is the way a multiplayer game has to be started. Every player has to be in the lobby, one cannot join after a multiplayer game has been started. I read that multi has been added to the game just 2 updates ago, so it may be developed into a more comfortable version later.

So much simpler than E:D but also fun to play. I like both of them very much.
Edit: Nominated for the Labor of Love (2019 Autumn) award.

Nice story, graphics, music and overall atmosphere with a little too much arcade elements (jumping!) for my taste.

Just a tiny advice; if you buy Fortix 2, you'll get all the maps of Fortix 1 with it.

Old fashioned, isometric view, turn based combat, dialog based story telling. For Shadowrun fans it is a must-buy. It is pure, unsophisticated, intimate Shadowrun in its best.

RPG fans must know before buying that the game's world is not really open (like Skyrim or GTA) but rather straightforward. On the other hand the story is so exciting and the game's atmosphere is so catching that it made me forget that I had no real choices, no junctions to choose another way, and I enjoyed playing this masterpiece. Every bit of it.

When I yield to my children's force, and ask them: "OK, which game shall we start?", most often they say "That one with the tiny alien!" which is this game. I like it too, because there are no guns in it and you have to use both your brains and your chic to complete Bob's missions.

I'll never forget Max's wisecracks like
