If you like the mechanics of D&D 5e then stop reading reviews and buy this game. You'll love it.

If you want a bit more detail then that:
This game is rough around the edges. As a video game it doesn't look the prettiest and feels kinda janky. The animations aren't great or non existent. The voice acting leaves a bit to be desired and the characters expressions while talking could use polishing.

That seems like a lot of negative stuff, right? So, why do I recommend it?
All of that stuff gets so easily forgotten and overlooked when you start looking at the mechanics of the game. It plays almost exactly like a D&D campaign (they have changed a few rules to help fit a digital format of the tabletop game). With the added multiplayer it is a D&D campaign that you all get to play in. No one has to be the DM. You can all just sit down, make your characters, and go out adventuring while playing D&D with friends. This has quickly become one of my favorite games of all time.

With workshop support and the dungeon maker, this game has the potential to have practically unlimited content. Not to mention mods that add classes, sub-classes, races, rule changes, character appearance options, and more. If you love the mechanics of D&D you will absolutely LOVE Solasta.
