11/10 will blow my brains out again. One day, I will earn the sole achievement that resides within the hell that is Devil Daggers, but until then, I remain an empty, broken husk of a man that once was.

But seriously,

I do recommend this game for fans of speedrunners/speedshooters/perma death/nostalgic feelings/suicide/difficulty/minimalism/trying to break high scores/going insane/ and amounting to nothing.

Devil Daggers is a relentlessly brutal, albeit very minimalistic FPS. The "goal" of the game is to survive for 500 seconds or longer. The Devil Dagger achievement remains one of, if not the most elusive Steam achievements on record, and with good reason. While most players will never snag the single achievement Devil Daggers has to offer, there is still some fun to be had. The art style is a unique homage to 90's FPS's & arcade games, and fits surprisingly well; it's cheap; it's challenging; and most importantly, it's entertaining. FAIR WARNING: Devil Daggers is NOT for the faint of heart, or the easily irritated. This game is not for everyone, but if you are interested in it, you will most likely get some enjoyment out of it.

The community is very close knit! If you ever need help with this game, the community has got your back!

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.:swbfrestrictivemindtrick:
