I really liked Starfield, especially the story and lore. I don't see any other game in this genre that is (in my opinion) better and I am better off for having experienced it.

Story spoilers: Starfield presents some very deep philosophical ideas, such as the interconnections between science and faith. I've never seen such a digestible presentation of these ideas, even beyond the books that can be read in the game.
