Finished the Demo.

What if you wanted... A more complex version of 3v3 pokemon with different mechanics working in conjunction to deliver a more complex combat than just spamming the same attack over and over again?

Sprinkle in a bit of roguelite elements with some hard to follow lore and you get Aethermancer.

Quite fun, I'd say.

Music: Fantastic, music to the ears

Visuals: Enough to portray what's needed

But I really wished it had steam achievements so that I have the motivation to explore the other story lines.

At a first glance, Balatro doesn't seem like a very interesting game. "Make poker hands to score as much as you possibly can" It doesn't have incredibly realistic graphics, nor any "engaging looking" mechanics to play with. I mean, how fun is it look at someone select cards to make poker hands and pick up some cards from the shop? I say nay.

But while at first glance it may look boring, it makes up for it in sheer DEPTH. The systems are simple, easy to understand for many who've touched playing cards. Yet the game adds so much more to its simple system with its jokers. Synergies and dis-synergies with other jokers, deck modifications to suit the jokers and manipulating your playstyle in accordance to the deck's conditions that you yourself drafted.

And while you immerse yourself into Balatro's gameplay, the simple graphics of points pinging numbers into the flaming hot CHIPS x MULTS gives so much more dopamine than you'd expect; as you anxiously see whether your final number manages to pass the blind.

On a final note, Localthunk is a cool game dev.

Incredibly challenging, you will die a lot, even if you have some experience in platformers. Feels like both a puzzle and a platformer as you need to meticulously plan out your moves before you execute with great precision.

Endling: Extinction is Forever tells the tale of a fox struggling for survival in a hostile environment.

Polluted rivers with endless amounts of trash, forests chopped flat to the ground, giving way to a barren wasteland where nothing can grow. It gave me insight on the pollution that humanity has brought.

At first, when I saw trash labeled as a food source, I vowed not to eat its morsels. But as I scavenged for little food in the wild, my first kit starved to death. Oh so it is as nature intended I thought.

But when my second kit started starving, I became desperate, to look for trash to feed them anything. But due to inexperience, I couldn't find any leftovers. I slowly saw my struggling kit die in front of my hopeless eyes.

Now the question is: Is endling worth its full price? In my opinion, no. But it is definitely worth its heavily discounted price at RM12.75 for me.

Art is pleasing to the eye, a variety of ingredients and food to combine and serve.

At first, it was quite overwhelming as you're thrust head in. But as you slowly get familiar with the ingredient combinations to make food, upgrading utilities and the game mechanics. It starts getting more seamless and easier. Until the point where you've memorized the combination of ingredients for the food by heart at the end of the game. Along with a semi-automated setup with your little hamster workers!

Opening packs, sorting them and moving cards around constantly as well as managing coins really gives you a strong insight on business cash flow and inventory management concepts.

On the other hand, some of the mechanics like magnets and waiters felt less useful due to the area of effect limitations. I'd suggest a look into it for improvements
- Magnets: Maybe custom area for magnets to pull from
- Waiters should not have the area of effect, since it has little purpose as I'm just going to put directly on the table instead of giving it to the waiter

Anyways, it was a very fun and addicting 4 hours till I viewed all the content!

Great world, great combat, and very challenging while also being quite balanced. Saying this right after beating Pantheon of Hallownest for the first time.

Now the wait for silksong!

Stunning visuals and effects paired with fantastic soundtracks that brings the game to life. Game was short, able to complete it within an hour while taking my time on the playthrough. However, gameplay-wise was lacking as it was mainly just jumping around and going through the levels. Which I suppose is the point of the game considering it's just a platformer.

Minor annoyances were the cutscenes that repeat whenever you fail the teddy bear fights. I was also spending some time to figure out where the "skip" button was, since it only showed me "Y to skip". Which I assume was the controller since it was "E" on the keyboard. But for some reason the power-ups showed a keyboard layout. Which is interesting.

Anyways, if you have an hour to spend and just want to chillax and watch some eye candy as you stroll along a mysterious underworld, then this is the right game for you.

At zero cost too.

A Short Hike is about a bird that wishes to climb a mountain so that he can get connection. Wow, even the animals are addicted to the internet now. Anyways, as our bird walks its journey towards the summit, it takes detours and many adventures with the surrounding locals. In the end, you're left on top of Hawk Peak, reflecting on the journey to took here with the mesmerizing view.

a really comfy vibes~ type of game for casuals or anyone who just wants to relax and see cute stuff.

Like many said, league + rocket league = omegalul

Good amount of agency, very fast paced, a ton of adrenaline when you get that sick goal.
If you get a bad teammate, game's over in 5 minutes and you're going next. if you get good teammates, you're pumping with excitement while you 5-0 the other team.
