This is it, this is were it all begin

This game did a whole bunch of little things really well, often in ways that hadn't been done before. If you play Halo now, many of the subtle innovations it had won't be impressive anymore because so many games use them. Things like having a 2-weapon limit, grenades tied to a button instead of being a selectable weapon, a meaningful attack with your fist, regenerating health, and great integration of the vehicles with the shooting is what made the game special. I played FPS games on PC for years prior and while I found them fun, I never was ever seriously into them. Halo was the franchise that really ignited my passion for FPS games.
