Hearts of Iron 4 is a fun game with a lot of micro and macro decision making.

Maps are poorly designed. You're often shooting for 2 minutes, then running around for 10 minutes trying to find the next exit.

Difficulty spikes too hard. 1 is way too easy, 2 means you can't afford to make a single mistake or you'll die

Low ammo means you're constantly fiddling with the weapons system instead of using the guns you like

You can get certain upgrades from your base but you have to walk around for like 5 minutes to find the unlock instead of just clicking it in a menu like the other upgrades

All in all the game has too many annoying additions compared to Doom, making it a worse game in general.

Spiritfarer is a lovely game about love and loss, about the meaningful moments we share or have shared with other people.

The gameplay is not very challenging, most of the game can be played at your leisure. This allows the personalities of the spirits on your boat to seep through as you discover their stories. I liked the characters and often found myself making sure they were well fed and happy.

I really enjoyed the platforming parts after unlocking some of the mobility abilities and navigating the maps was fun. The resource collecting/crafting was fun at first but the animations and minigames got boring after doing them a couple of times.

The game does drag on a bit too long, and even after reaching the 'point of no return' I still had some stories left to complete.

Darksiders 3 has the potential to be a fun hack and slash game, but too often I find myself having to dodge-attack-dodge-dodge-attack. That is boring and frustrating.

The theme of the game is still great, like it's predecessors but I have no desire to continue playing. Playing Darksiders 3 is only an exercise in frustration.

Surprisingly fun and beautiful typing game. The story is weak and kinda tacked on but it doesn't detract from the gameplay.
