I nuked my friends list because I was getting spammed by phishers, so now I need to re-add everyone.

GOLDEN RULE: NEVER VOTEKICK ANYBODY UNLESS THEY'RE: 1) Blatantly Using AImbot/Wallhack/Speedhack, 2) Purposely griefing the team by shooting allies or suiciding. Those are the only two legitimate reason to votekick, anything else constitutes as abusing the votekick system. If someone is bad or picking a lot of fights, just leave the game. If you had a friend crash, calmly ask the person in their spot to leave or you leave and re-create a new lobby for you friend.

=======My idea of perfect L4D2 Survivor setup:=======

Branch into two groups of two (battle buddies). Group A maintains ~ smoker tongue (or 5 cars) distance from Group B.

Group A:

1) Point man = assault rifle, melee. Someone with the best ping on the team. Baits and jukes chokepoints. Very verbal on microphone and calls out most strats. Very active and always moving with flashlight ON. Preferred grenade = Molotov for tanks (shift+walks to ensure molly tank)

2) Primary Support = shotgun, dual pistol or deagle. Stays close to Point Man. Really good and plowing down hoards of commons and INSTANTLY clearing the point man. Good at killing witches while boomed and being pulled by smoker. Always has flashlight OFF and shift+walks 70% of the time (to remain invisibile to infected). Constantly monitors Group B and Point man. Preferred Grenade = Pipe bombs for boomer attacks.

Group B:

3) Sub Support = shotgun or sniper rifle, pistols or melee. Stays close to Rear Man. Plows hoards or Snipes long distant targets (shotgun for closed maps, sniper for open maps). Always has flashlight OFF and shift+walks 50% of the time (to remain invisibile to infected). Pretty much progresses through the entire map... BACKWARDS, keeping an eye on the Rear-Man at all times. Preferred grenade = Pipe bombs for excessive hoards and boomer attacks.

4) Rear Man = assault rifle, SHARP melee (for slicing smoker tongues) or chainsaw. Has second best ping on the team. Picks off remaining infected/commons. Collects remaining supplies. Closes all doors. Toggles flashlight/shift+walk depending on the situation. Highly verbal on microphone. Preferred grenade = Molotovs for closing chokepoints and cooking remaining hoards.

Notes: If either the Point Man or Rear Man receive too much damage, they may swap positions (but not actual roles) with their respective Supports until they eat some pills or take a shot.

Tank Events. Group A: circles and jukes the tank while dishing out the majority of damage to him. Group B: scans area for Infected, watches for tank hitables, and blocks key spawns; they also toss lead at the tank from a distance.

=========My idea of perfect L4D2 Infected team:========

1) Caller
2) Follower
3) Follower
4) Follower

Notes: The Caller is usually the most experienced L4D2 player on the team, has a clean sounding mic, gets along with everyone and is good at pointing out strengths and weaknesses in nice, tactful manner to help the followers improve their performance.

The Caller's primary duties are:

1) Choosing locations to attack,

2) Choosing the sequences of which infected attacks first etc.

3) CLEARLY Understanding the situation of the game and how it is playing out.

There are SOFT choke points (tight spots for survivors but usually not deadly) and HARD choke points (deadly areas for survivors). You usually want to get effective attacks on all hard choke points. Soft chokes points are very obvious to the survivors and should be avoided because they can undermine hard chokes points due to discrepencies of spawn timers.

Caller instructs Followers to attack when: Huge mobs of commons assault the survivors, Survivor makes a fatal mistake or is incapped, Tanks spawns, Witch spawns, Big Event Begins.

The Caller identifies enemy strengths and weaknesses. If enemy survivors are progressing WAAAYYY too fast, emphasize hitting them agressively at hard choke points, your team must slow them down at all costs.

If they're spread apart, instruct chargers, jockeys, and smokers to make the first moves. If they're very close, instruct boomers then spitters to make a move.

Commons are the infected team's most valuable resource. Always take advantage of that.

Going against professional or well-established Survivors: Sometimes it is not always good to attack at obvious choke points. If a survivor team is shutting you down often, you must start rusing or tricking them. Do this by attacking slightly BEFORE or AFTER Obvious choke points and 90% of them time, you will catch them off guard becuase they're trained to believe that Infected WILL in fact, attempt something at the upcoming choke point.

Tanks: Always attempt to pass the tank off to someone who knows what they're doing, has good ping, great at tank hitables, fast at juking molotov tosses.
