Yeah, this is not a good installment of what used to be great games by Bethesda. I hope everyone that was clamoring for an online version of these games have now realized how badly implemented of an idea this would always be and will shut up now. These aren't 3rd rate modders, or even 1st rate modders. This is Bethesda, and even they couldn't make it a fun or pleasant experience.

I took a chance and tried this with my wife since it on sale and it is a steaming pile of disappointment. Because of the Fallout show I was finally able to introduce her to the series and the online aspect of 76 appealed to her, and now she doesn't want to have anything else to do with your games even though they are all stellar as single player experiences. I'll keep trying, but this game really turned her off. How will I explain your other benign and wonderful bugs to her if she ever gave these games another chance and encountered one? She'll just remember this frustrating experience, I'm sure.

Please stick to single player games. This was a colossal fail. In addition to the numerous bugs that your engine normally presents, the online aspect presents even more weirdness and bugs that ultimately make the game unplayable. I can't open doors and key cards readers randomly stop working unless I relog? Literally unplayable. I'm sorry, but it is. I'm not going to relog every 30 minutes to progress through what you're calling "instances".

I cannot recommend anyone pick this up or play it unless they pay nothing for it. Instead, spend that money on one of the numerous other titles they have put out, get out of the "always online" mentality, and try a single player sandbox experience. I promise you it's worth it. If you really need to play with others, try doing a group chat with friends while you all are running through a game with different character builds and see what silly situations your characters end up in and compare how you solved different challenges as your characters. Now that is excitement and fun, and it doesn't require you to connect your game to some wonky server.

I never should have bought this game. You probably shouldn't buy this game either. Unless you're willing to weather divorce, job loss, and homelessness.

On the other hand, think about the glory of your empire... And the intrigue of sleeping with your son's wife, and then years later having your bastard son/grandson run a court filled with sister cousins and brother uncles.

10/10 would keep bloodline pure again

Game's chances are rigged. Shame.

I mean, a game that isn't rigged shouldn't have to prove to you how not rigged it is, right?

(Sweet Jesus! They fixed something that allowed me and my friends to FINALLY connect and play together. This edit now reflects my true feelings about the game with this critical issue patched out.)

Oh, how I've longed for an experience like this since the days of Halo 2 and Halo 3. Good, co-op shooting fun. Killing bots and bugs couldn't be more gleeful with a squad full of your best pals dodging each other's Eagle and Orbital Strikes.

The PvE is ratcheted up by the Galactic War and I love the GM vs Players mechanic of it all. More live service games should operate this way.

There are no PvP modes and honestly, I don't think I'd touch it if there were. In my opinion, the game is good as is. If that bothers you, you might not want to get into this shooter. At least, not yet - PvP is always a possibility.

Typical peer to peer networking issues persist and some things are kind of wonky, like the presence of an anti-cheat in a PvE game that operates with matchmaking and data storage servers. You'd think they'd validate things on the servers rather than root-kiting client machines...

Anyway, don't think, just buy. Get it, and you wont regret it.
