Ive been waiting for years in the shadows for this game to finish so I can come back and play.

Apparently microtransactions are coming for "cosmetics only"

Well the whole point of the game was to have all resources in the world, this defeats the original purpose of the game.

8/16/24 - Apparently they will give money to a charity known as The Ocean Cleanup. Sound familiar? Thats right! Because Ocean Cleanup is sponsored by MR BEAST! So, chances are, they do not do what they claim, or achieve much of anything on any real scale. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDCUYXkNPEI) They could have went with the Ocean Conservancy, but instead they chose the opaque Mr Beast hype organization

I waited for the game to be better, but it hasn't happened yet. When I look in the store, I see 5 planned DLCs to be released this year - none of them improving the base game issues.

I would rather recommend you play the first game, but the DLC practices were born there - so unless you want to drop too much money on a game not worth that much money - just stop buying Paradox games

most im willing to pay for a subscription to this game is ~1$

im sure the game is fine but I cant get passed the "servers at capacity, try again later" screen

2/23/24 - Ive now been able to get into the game with no "servers full" alert in three days, so I suppose the issue is fixed (or people started playing something else)


5/5/24 - Sony has decided that You Own Nothing and You WILL Be Happy.

5/6/24 - PSN account requirement was supposedly walked back. I dont see this as a MAJOR victory against this tactic. We are going to see this again with another game, be on the look out Divers

Finally a remake worth paying for, and I would probably now never care to play the original when I have this version.

because i want you to experience the groundbreaking, revolutionary gaming industry decision to let you play for an hour, then crash the server - causing about a 50 minute reset. I just love making 10 minutes of progress in 1 hour
