The game is extremely fun and well-made, with a ton of complexity and attention to detail. WoW M+ without subscription.

Diagonal road design feels extremely flimsy - buildings do not wrap in the corners, leaving tons of ugly, empty space. I hope this is fixed or addressed in the final release and that other new features are actually polished.

The content we got looks like reskinned 1800 with bad UI and a half-baked new feature. I am not very optimistic.

Amazing DLC, the content that Triumph keeps pumping out is absolutely outstanding. The new culture has really cool units and the new tomes are absolutely blasting. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

They're doing Early Access right, which is rare. The game was already very solid on release, but the improvements have been monumental, including graphics, mechanics and open world content. Just a great survival game in every regard.

Better itemisation than Diablo IV. Actually, gearing is extremely well though-out in this game.
The game is very fun, it feels like Darkest Dungeon in real-time in a lot of ways. Combat is snappy and engaging, the rules are clear and well-implemented, the THIRTEEN classes are fun and diverse and each run gives you a bunch of loot to work with.

I have four major issues right now:
1) The "initial" classes are heavily outclassed by the ones you unlock later, killing the diversity for me;
2) There isn't that much content at the moment, which is understandable.
3) Hero levelling is perhaps too quick? The way progression works kind of forces you to recycle your team every now and then and it takes too long to fully deck a good team and up the difficulty.
4) Empire item affixes become repetitive very quickly. There should be more variety.

Overall, the game is great, though. Looking forward to more content!

Without a shadow of a doubt, this is the best game I have ever played. The greatest adventure I've ever been on. The most memorable plot I've had the pleasure to follow. And it's over. Damn. If you play it for the first time, take your time, discover it on your own and avoid spoilers. You will not be able to play it for the first time ever again.

It's a very exciting RPG with great foundations. The visuals are stunning and the system is deep enough to be enjoyable. A few things I like:
1) Stats do not lock you to a class. There is one universal stat for damage and you can therefore multiclass to your liking with no penalties.
2) Really fun combat with a lot of strategic openings and a ton of flashy moves;
3) Diverse gearing options, with hundreds of items to choose from;
4) Pacing of the game, where you get to do a TON of side quests, but everything feels fresh and inventive; there is no recycled content at all;
5) Lots of little references to PoE1 and PoE2 that make me smile. They know their world very well and the game is excellent at quietly acknowledging the previous campaigns.
This game is clearly a labour of love and I've had an absolute blast. GG Obsidian!

If you want to do a world boss, your best chances are to "hide under the stairs from p2w Russian multiboxer guilds and then go in and sneak in a hit". No thanks. Russian guild alliances have monopolised PvP on most servers and there is legit zero chance for competition over anything for normal players. PvE is super simplistic and gets boring fast. Very disappointing overall, clueless devs. The game looks nice and plays well, but that's about it.

An excellent ARPG, probably in my top 3 with PoE and Last Epoch right now. Great itemisation, solid mechanics, enjoyable progression, a lot to discover. The game uses a lot of familiar mechanics very effectively and it is really a pleasure to engage with it. The game's art style is very fresh and super pleasant. Graphically, it's beautiful and vibrant.


EDIT: The game no longer launches for many people after they have introduced anti-cheat. Awful.


The devs are active and the game is under constant development with tons of new, meaningful content coming in every season, with the upcoming Season 5 bringing huge expansion to every existing class.

The game has a ton of optional classes you can buy, but the ones that are available with the base game purchase are extremely strong and very fun to play, with many of them being absolutely S tier in the meta.

Absolutely better than D4. No kidding.

Extremely slow and minimal growth in terms of content over Early Access period and once the EA ends, first thing they do then is announcing several DLCs and expansions. Just disappointing.
