Incredibly well developed game, you can clearly notice the love with which the developer (ConcernedApe) crafted it. Even if I am not one to just tend to the farm when the main objectives for the game have been completed, it took me around 100 hours to finish that. In other words, it is well worth it's price, and even more. It would be great to see multiplayer added, something he has mentioned that he will add.

This has to be taken as a benchmark for other indie developers when it comes to Early Access & releasing unfinished games just to make money. Not only did ConcernedApe not release Early Access (most Early Access games I have played have remained unfinished after the developers received money), but he also focused on releasing a complete product. That said, it is impossible to release a bug-free game, but his speed to fix those bugs demonstrates his high regard for his clients & providing the best experience possible.

To other developers: There is no excuse for releasing noticeably unfinished games or in Early Access and "giving up" on updates or bug fixes. This games was developed by ONE man, who programmed, designed the graphics, as well as the music. Next time you want to come up with a great & crafty excuse, remember that.

One of the best games in my (mental) top ten game list.

I've been playing Star Nomad 2 for the last couple of days, and I must admit I have really enjoyed the experience. The game presents itself as an open-world sandbox, which I think it does accomplish, since it allows many different activities to be done. Moreover, I feel like it is a seamless world, where I am just another piece, not the main hero which destroys anything in it's path without any difficulty. Improving both the character & the ship are time-consuming tasks, but at the same time I don't feel it's a grind, since I find the game's combat system to be entrhalling. I also enjoy the dynamic trade system. I've got to admit that although very enjoyable, the game could do with some aggregates & new features, but as it is, the game has a very good base from which to expand & improve, and it must be taken into account that the game has been developed by only 1 person (Halfgeek).

Highlights:
-----------
-Somewhat open-world game, with different activities to be done.
-Immersive atmosphere, soundtrack, music & characters.
-Amazing work for having been developed by only one person.
-Halfgeek, the developer, is the most dedicated indie developer I know. He really works a lot for the game to thrive, answers extremely quickly & takes into account all bugs reported, as well as suggestions and comments.
-Fun & enthralling experience.
-Trading & combat systems that aren't too simple nor complicated, they are just right.
-As it is, the game is a great foundation from which to expand, since a lot of features can be taken into account & added to open-world sandbox type games.
