The Galactic War feels very isolating, as players aren't able to grasp their progress or witness the story unfold. Instead, Divers are greeted with a soulless text screen that reads out their prior goals and their next objective. This is a problem that's existed from the beginning and ultimately led me and my pals to move on to other games.

Performance at the time of this review leaves the game borderline unplayable. Additionally, warbonds have gotten increasingly stale and repetitive due to a change in content volume since Democratic Detonation. Instead of 3 armor sets, 2 primaries, a secondary, and a grenade, the warbonds now include 2 armor sets, often one primary and secondary, a grenade, and two stratagems. Instead of giving players the extra armor set and weapon, Arrowhead took the greedy approach and placed the remaining content inside the Super Store for players to spend an additional 6-8 bucks on. Warbonds generally aren't worth $10.00 and I advise against purchasing any warbonds after the first 4-5 that were released.

We're long overdue for a free warbond, and personally, I think the paid ones should be half the price for the extra content to be worth it. The new weapons and passives have very little effect on gameplay and the cost should reflect that.

My review is very simple: the game made me cry.

Without delving into spoilers, No Man's Sky is a game about the universe looking back on itself, coping with an intense loneliness. The world is by no means empty, but it is so vast that the player begins to feel like a pioneer. You could be the first person to climb that rock, the first person to touch the bottom of that alien sea, or the first person who's showed kindness to that stranded lifeform, repaired their ship, and watched them blast off to the stars. I often shed a tear when I find myself out in the open with a gorgeous view, taking in the sights as the killer soundtrack fades in.

As someone with anxiety, I am overjoyed that the game does not push you in one direction. Your journey is your own, and it is your job to make sense of the world and find your place in the universe. I recommend turning to Discord and joining a community if you don't want to go it alone. No Man's Sky players are delightfully creative and kind. Griefing is nonexistent and can be easily remedied by accessing the network settings and the integrated report system. Even if your report doesn't go through, nefarious buildings will still be hidden from you, allowing you to play uninterrupted.

Please give this game a chance and don't be too impatient with the early game. As you upgrade your ship and find a place to settle, you'll finally feel anchored to the world. This alongside playing with friends will make the gameplay feel far less repetitive that it was at launch. I think you'll get rather attached to your corvette as well, as I like to think of mine--the Nebuchadnezzar--as an extension of myself. I've often heard it said that people find their ships to be another character in their story, and I couldn't agree more.

So what are you waiting for? Get out there!

Latest update stripped characters of items, enchants and reset skills, The skills are easy to reacquire with a tome of unlearning, but the other factors killed my motivation to revisit the game. Not much has been added in the latest update which is a huge letdown.

This game is a useless cash-grab, forcing you to repurchase content from Ark Survival Evolved--the previous entry in the series. There are persistent performance issues on my machine (RTX 4080 Super + 64 GB DDR5 + Samsung 990 Pro SSD) with the newest drivers installed. The greed of Snail Games is a disease, offering minimal improvements over the first game. I would change my review if everything was completely and utterly free, considering I already paid for all DLC in ASE.

Do not purchase if you already own the first Ark or hate losing hours of progress to bugs and crashes.

The most soulless, lifeless game that Bethesda has released. There's so much to do, but each mechanic has little depth. I got excited and decided to explore Mars--knowing that the landscape would be barren--and immediately hit a map boundary. The fact that Bethesda's creation engine is still limited to loading screens when entering interiors baffles me. Space combat is clunky and entering a planet's atmosphere is not seamless like 90% of space games out there. The story is bland and uninteresting, with the only memorable character being your robotic companion and the occasional funny one-liner that got a nose exhale out of me. None of the factions or characters have solid motives, especially Constellation.

Comparatively, I actually quite enjoy Fallout 76 as it stands today--despite the terrible launch--so I actually disagree that Bethesda is going through some sort of "dark age" (thank the surprisingly wonderful Fallout TV show). However, this game is certainly going to be the final nail in the coffin for Bethesda in some people's minds. Proceed with caution and inform yourself of all the problem areas before purchasing this game.

As an avid Kerbal Space Program fan, I am sorely disappointed. I purchased this title knowing that I would be met with the traditional array of early access bugs.

Oh boy...

Kraken? Still very much here. "Timewarp" still causes your craft to shake violently and break into thousands of tiny bits. I'm running the game on an RTX 3080, the recommended card, and my FPS is abysmal. Crafts desperately need the auto-strut feature present in the first game. My Saturn V replica attempt shook more violently than a caffeine addict.
My first and only orbital attempt went surprisingly well, but I suspect this was only because the vehicle was around the same caliber as the Redstone rockets present in the early space program. I laughed out loud when Jeb proceeded to walk casually across the fuselage towards the rocket exhaust during his EVA. In another mission, I didn't laugh when my Apollo command module was ejected violently and prematurely after a short timewarp.

I know Intercept Games can do better, and I'd be willing to give the game another go if these issues are fixed.

Newest update broke years worth of avatars to add something the community already added for them years ago.

Satisfactory is an phenomenal gift to both the sandbox and automation genre. I found myself hooked to its world and mechanics almost immediately after installing the game. I have a deep appreciation for all of the amazing people at Coffee Stain, who are always in-touch with their community and very open about the game's development. Every new update and advancement both challenges and excites the community, delivering more and more dopamine to my pathetic brain, as I bathe in the joy of having a "perfectly balanced" factory ecosystem. The factory must grow!
The multiplayer... I've never laughed so hard with a pal in my entire life. I know this is just a simple review for a funny capitalism simulation game, but by God, I'm going to make it a wholesome one! High School has got me feeling down, especially as I prepare for college and moving on in the world. This game has not only brought my friends and I closer, but it has brought a smile on my face.

Thank you Coffee Stain, I can't wait to see more!
