Have you ever looked at Half Life 1 and wished it had a mini game for taking a dump? This game has it all. GOTY

Way too easy to get stuck in a loop at the end game cause you fail a battle and then lose every single bit of progress cause the assaults never stop even at 1% at the end while trying to build back up. Bad design.

Required to make an account for a system I don't own. Suggested by the CM to do this so I will, great game... but now, unable to play it. Thanks Sony.

Absolutely God Awful writing with some of the worst dialogue prompts I've ever seen game wise. You basically have to choose the choices you don't want to get leverage to do what you actually do but good luck guessing which is which!

(EDIT) Well I worked with the dev on this and I'm the dumb ass. The response to this is changing my vote to positive. I'll post more in a bit mebbe

Game is still a buggy mess. Start Tutorial, get to ship, wander around, look up guide for tutorial options as they aren't quite clear, get part needed to repair ship, fix visor, head back to ship, ship is now 20m underground from where it was for no discernible reason. Have no mining tools, just starting out, read online to reload a save. Did so, now back to where the ship repair part was. Uninstall game. Avoid this.

This game is a trip... I'm not going to describe it as just explaining it would spoil it...

(Edit as of 5-9-2022) The above bugs seem to be fixed but I didn't run a New Game+ nor have any plans on it. It's completable and only 1 crash cause of an alt tab during a loading screen. The game is very fun with a friend just bear in mind you might run into a few bugs here or there. Definitely worth the cost and changing from a down vote to an up vote.

I literally hate that I have to write this review. The atmosphere, the graphics, the story and characters are all amazing. But the one selling point in this game (i.e. the Co-op) is so bug ridden that a large number of work-arounds, patience (i.e. restarting and time looping back), possibility for corrupt saves, soft locks, trigger failures, etc. keep the Co-op from being functional without guaranteeing that (at best) a few hours of progress of lost every long game play session.

I wish I could say the devs are working on the bugs but their public optics (i.e. on the forums, patch releases, bug fixes vs. DLC) is quite horrible and is creating an impression that they care more for add on stuff than fixing the numerous crashes and locks. (Fair point, the new content *IS* free.)

(EDIT) Small Edit, this game is unbeatable in coop as it has a consistent crash during the AGI Core mission that always comes when the spider bosses are destroyed.

This game was great early in development, little rough but a great early access title. Now it's absolutely unfun garbage with a lot of meter monitoring. Avoid.
