The Hunter, Call Of The Wild

This game is breathtaking, from the first moment you look down the sights at a massive deer the whole world stops in its tracks, you can hear every little sound from insects to birds, you can see all the distant terrain, this game is absolutely gorgeous, in a snow map you can actually see the wind picking up snow and blowing it into the direction that your compass says the wind is blowing. There are a heap of different animals that you can hunt, from the small rabbits and ducks you encounter to the huge water buffalo and moose that may hop about your screen, you will run into bronze trophy animals, silver trophy animals, and golden trophy animals, the rarest being diamond trophy animals, and i have yet to find a diamond.

The different maps in this game give it a breath of fresh air every time you change the game, from the moment you launch up a brand new map you can hear the atmosphere change and every map is very unique and filled to the brim with detail. From the hilly ponds in "Silver Ridge Peaks" to the blistering African savanna in "Vurhonga Savanna" you will always have a new hunting spot to find. In these many maps you will come across "Outposts". These buildings will give you the option to sleep which skips time, and to open up the item shop to buy new weapons and callers.

The AI in this game is mediocre at best, higher level animals will spook more easily than the lower level animals and rarely you will run into an animal that just runs in circles when shot at, but i have no complaints with it. The graphics are stunning and are very true-to-life, you will be amazed with some of the views and landscapes you will see, its truly a great experience.

Additionally they have brought out a new system called "TruRACS" which stands for "True Random Antler Configuration System", it randomly generates all of the antlers and horns of the animals you will see, and they guarantee you will never see the same antlers twice. Also the maps in this game are huge and without the ATV DLC you will have a long and boring experience walking the whole map to explore everything, it would take weeks even months of exploring to see everything that the maps have to offer without the ATV.
