Really awesome job by Ubisoft. Not sure what they did with the extra time during the delays, but it was worth it.

Such a good game with a bizarre, but extremely well-written story, and really, really good action! I can whole-heartedly recommend this game.

Co-op is so much fun! The difficulty spikes make the combat interesting and exciting, but going solo is a whole different story. Yeah sure, the game is still fun most of the time, but unless you grind endlessly, you will be killed almost instantly as soon as you are swarmed by a bunch of mobs (this game's take on making bosses difficult). Playing as a sniper means that going solo, I have to invest lots of materials into weapons I wouldn't normally use, such as the Submachine Gun, in order to survive when mobs swarm me. Also, the number of times you have to upgrade your armor in order for your Defense rating to be considered OK is staggering, even in early maps after the first boss. I highly recommend this game, but I'm also pleading you devs to patch this so that I'll be able to enjoy the game solo as well! Can't the difficulty scale based on the number of players? It feels like the difficulty is constantly scaled for two players.

The game has a few janky animations and control scheme, but they're so small compared to the rest of the quality of the game. Quests and storytelling are easily two of the games' strongest parts. Combat is interesting, and what's more; making tough moral choices will make combat easier. It's a well thought-out mechanic, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the overall experience. With that said; the game has this bug where it gets a green, flashing overlay whenever I play in fullscreen mode. I know I'm not the only one, so hopefully a fix is on the way. For now though, my workaround has been to not play in fullscreen mode, but rather windowed fullscreen (press F11 and hide the Windows taskbar).

After two in-game hours I'm afraid I have to give this a would not recommend. The game looks better than the previous installment, and I like how you can customise your soldiers, and you have more freedom when it comes to loadouts. But you included choppers and airstrikes... I know, there were helicopters in that war, but it feels like there's constantly at least one helicopter shooting at you at all times, as well as aristrikes being dropped on you quite often. People sure know how to abuse those OP features to the max. I really enjoyed Rising Storm, and while I wouldn't call myself good, I am at least competent. My first ten minutes I really enjoyed myself, and I still enjoy myself more and more as I play it. Rising Storm 2 is a different thing. At first I figured I just had to keep playing, surely it couldn't be as aggrevating as it first seemed. Now, two hours in, that's all I can stomach. I went back to Rising Storm just to make myself feel better, and I'm pretty sure that's not something you want to hear about a sequel.

Pros:
- Updated graphics
- Creedence Clearwater Revival at menu screen

Cons:
- Sluggish controls (even compared to RS1)
- OP choppers and airstrikes

The joy I felt exploring Talos I and its inhabitants during my first playthrough is hard to describe. Not many games have given me that feeling, but I'll go as far as to say that Prey is 2017 GOTY material. I won't spoil anything, but the replayability of this game is superb! I've recently finished my first playthrough, and I already know which way I want my next to go. Great, capturing story, fantastic narrative and awesome gameplay - 'nuff said.
