It's just incredible. Every time I get screwed over by some absolute nonsense like a fire dog burning all the logs I'd just finished collecting or something called a Kamikaze Yeek walking up behind me while I'm fighting something else and exploding my entire party I fall in love with the game all over again.
Buy it. Play it. It's wonderful.

This game is the Jesus Christ of strategy games.

It really is an excellent game. I see D&D 5e in a completely new light now. It's nice to be a player instead of a dungeon master, for once. My favourite part was reaching 10th level as an enchantment wizard and realising that, given just a little more time, I could make two monsters dance for my amusement instead of one.

It's alright. The main story chapters are interesting and looking around the house for secrets is fun, but the post-game tape hunt is pretty miserable since you start running low on supplies. As with all horror games, the set-pieces are amazing and the random scary events are great, but the chase sequences get boring after a while and end up being more annoying than scary. Still, the game is pretty fun.

Final Fantasy V is the best game in the series. Go play it.
