Well i never will get why this game was so famous. It looks... ok.
But well thats at least everything. Most of the time its not even a bit scary.
Especially "key chapter"

If you get it in a sale for 5€... well its a cheap scare for a few hours.
But over all... its not worth it.

to be honest, this is an expertly crafted horror experience with great visuals and it's actually scary. however, the number of things you have to do while endlessly running through an enormous house with all its extra areas attached to it is just ridiculous.

i like to beat games entirely on my own and i got no problem sinking over 100 hours into something, but I don't see myself derping around in this house for hours on end trying to find what to do next. when I got to that conclusion, I checked out a playthrough and yea, it confirmed my suspicion. it's still a 5 hour run by someone who knows how to progress the story and it's full of "yea, sure, this 3 minute segment may have taken me an hour" moments. very unfortunate.
