Hard to say yes or no too

Maybe in the long run but for now its more frustrating then fun.
it has a lot of features that are implementited for a small part of the game.

Like buildings giving stats... wel only some
Skills having perk points.... well again only some
Places have random ores... yes but coal is only on some of hand crafted locations. (you need it for smelting the ores.)
Stealth is prity fun, but its not effective on the overwolrd map, all encounters there are always head on.
Hand made locations are very nice and detailed, but many places still have placeholders/ empty buildings

And yet more and more features are added.
I do hope the dev comes around with the game polish without getting burned out by the amount.

Little bugy but very relexing and fun

very relaxing

First of all, its not like rimworld ad all. Its more focused on crafting chains and survival. Making it more like "craft the world" and "realm of magic"
Rimworld had a story teller, different bioms, random events and dynamic relation between your colonist. this game however does not have that (nor is there anything on the road map to indicate that this is coming. )
What you do get is a slow burn of a survival colony sim with a Scottish sauce. and the balance is more on getting enough food and warm room to do stuff in winter. the game can be quite overwhelming ad fist with its many many unlocks and steps for crafting, but it isn't really hard. there is nothing new under the sun after the first year you played (because nothing is random). but it will take about 3 years for the buildings to be ready to ave all the crafting chains indoors.

the game is fun to play but could be so much more

my personal pet peeve is that there is no religion/faith in the game (nor will there be) but what is midevil europe with out it? Scotland had ad the time a unique mix of local folklore (fairies and brownies kelpies etc) mixed with an older version of Christianity that it feels wierd not to home in on it. And i'm not talking about making magic in to the game (in the form of a "here is 20 clay miracle" from sky dady), but people still would have rituals, habits, art and mood about these things.

its not a bad game, but in lack of a meh vote, i vote opposite of the current trent.

yes, this is one of the better survivor games.
