It's a fun game, devoid of in-game micro transactions. Difficult at first, until you get the hang of it. Fun to play for hours, beautiful maps to play on, and so many creatures to tame and catch. Crafting system is good. My only complaint is with the pipes, but other than that, it's enjoyable, especially with friends.

With the recent inclusion of micro-transactions, I have to say, I am disappointed.

Triple AAA companies take note, because this is what a GOOD game actually looks like. Story rich and not bogged down by micro-transactions.

As the game is now, it is great. Lots of ways to explore the vast universe, and you get to do that however you want.

I don't play this game for its difficulty and balance, I play this to yeet orcs. It needs a custom game mode where you can do just that.

Fantastic! A truly fantastic, beautiful and fun game that really gives me the good ol' Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon vibes!
It's still early, and there is likely much that will change between now and the full release. The mechanics are simple, the gameplay is like SoS/HM game, the characters are vibrant and diverse. The island is gorgeous and reminds me of SoS Trio of Towns; it has scenic views, and the animation style is just so pretty to me.

Do I recommend this game? Yes and no. Why the "no"? It's not a game meant for everyone, and I mean that. It is a challenging game, and can be extremely frustrating at times. However, if you like to be challenged, if you enjoy the feeling after overcoming a difficult fight, then this is for you.

The lore is not an in your face type of story. You've got to do some digging. I suggest reading item descriptions, it goes a LONG way in clarifying the story, as well as exploring and going off the beaten path. As someone who played DS3 (a LOT), I absolutely love this game and the story. It's dark, gritty, and most of all sad; but it is compelling. It draws you in and throws you for a loop.

Gameplay wise, it runs smoothly, and I have no issues. Controls are nearly the same as Dark Souls 3 (with the addition of jumping). I don't suffer from my game CTD'ing (crash to desktop) or anything.

In terms of style of play, there are a lot of different builds. More than just the spell slinger or sword and board styles. It's fun, interesting and I enjoy the freedom of it. Some builds (scarlet rot/bleed) are OP, that mainly applies to multiplayer/pvp and less so for solo play.

Overall, is it worth the pricetag on it? Absolutely, worth the buy.

Still in early access, so there is plenty of work to be done, but overall the game is a fantastic successor to Portia, and I enjoy the changes. The game has a slightly higher difficulty that I thoroughly believe makes it that much more fun. I do believe there are some things that could be changed, and that the game needs "more", however as an early access game, it is doing great. I do wish the game could be slower like in Portia, honestly the day breezes by many times.

That isn't to say the early access doesn't have issues, however the team at Pathea are rolling out hotfixes left and right to ensure that they resolve these issues for their players.

It's fun.
