Firstly, take that "recommended" with a grain of salt – let me explain why.
Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed the hours I've spent in this game but now, after 61 hours (which already includes several hours of simply grinding for stuff), all that's left to do is Chaos Chamber runs (randomised waves of enemies of increasing difficulties) and money grinding to get those last pesky achievements and I'm... just not feeling it. There's no New Game+ or resetting of story missions. It's literally just Chaos Chamber runs.
The story was great, way better than BL3, and there was just lots and lots of the typical Borderlands humour that we all know and love.

So yes, technically I do recommend the game but absolutely wait until it's on sale (esp. the DLCs – you do NOT get your money's worth with those) – and don't expect to get as much playtime out of it as the main series games. Then, and only then, is it a really good game.

It's super addictive! Just when you think you've seen and done everything, you find out about something new, or the dev adds new content!
You really get your money's worth of content. It's phenomenal.

Despite some DLC nonsense*, this is probably one of the best LEGO games out there.

In my experience, LEGO games come with lots of bugs and occasional crashes but in the ~44 hours I spent playing this game, genuinely the only bugs I encountered were Ant-Man, Wasp, and Mantis ;)
The character's voices are taken straight from the movies which is a real nice touch in my opinion.
There are several hub areas (one of them rather enormous) as well as 15 levels to explore – with over 200 available characters to choose from!

Overall, this truly was a fantastic game.

* It's probably nit-picking but for those aiming to 100% their games, it is worth mentioning that several DLCs are required in order to get all achievements.

This DLC is not included in the season pass but required for 100%.
Real shady move.
On top of that, all this DLC adds is only about an hour of content.
Is that worth 3€? Not really.

The story really took a weird turn at some point but the game is still very much enjoyable, if not just for the fighting alone.
I think the best improvement compared to Bl2 is that you can now teleport from anywhere to a Fast Travel station anywhere in the galaxy, it kinda is the best.

It's really rather simple, if you enjoyed the Borderlands franchise so far, you'll most likely enjoy this game as well. Maybe not for the story but definitely for the overall gameplay.

I mean it's Borderlands, I feel like that speaks for itself.

(yes, this "review" was brought to you by The Steam Awards and I'm just lazy)

I don't often write reviews but I feel like it is necessary to write one for this game.

Ori and the Blind Forest is such a great game. The art style is so beautiful, the soundtrack absolutely amazing, and the story the game is telling very sweet and lovely.
It can be quite frustrating at some points (I ragequit the game very early on and didn't wanna play it for a week; only to then complete the rest of the game in one sitting), but it definitely gets easier the more you play - even though the game itself gets harder the further you progress. Usually I'm not a huge fan of platformers, but this game had me hooked instantly - for the above mentioned reasons.

You get to spend your skill points just as you like, and you can explore and revisit areas - despite mission goals - completely freely most of the time (with the exceptions of three areas that you can't revisit) once you learn the required moves to access them.
The controls are very easy and not complicated at all, though you can't remap them if you wanted to.
Also, some of the achievements are kinda bugged; it's not that you cannot get them though, it's that it's possible that they unlock at completely random times. For example, I randomly got six achievements at once at some point when I only should have gotten one.

Even though I got quite mad at it at one point, I absolutely recommend the game because of its gorgeous art and story.

I got this so I wouldn't have to throw away my old, yet still functioning mouse.
What can I say, it got the job done, now I can throw away a dead mouse.

First of all, yes, this game is abandoned and will not be finished, but does it make the content that has been finished any less enjoyable? The answer is no.

I mean, come on, you can be a fairy and fly around as you like - it's totally up to the player.
Also you get to create your character at the beginning and you have the chance to modify your character as you like, meaning you can spent your skill points absolutely freely.
Ah, right, the story is pretty neat, too. I mean it's okay. I guess that is just what fairies do.

All in all I really enjoyed this game. Yes, even though it is pretty short because it isn't finished. I just enjoyed flying around pretending I was a fairy (and that's the reason I bought it, actually).

So if you always wanted to be or rather wanted to play a fairy, you should try this game.

The world needs more fairy games.

Even though it has a very simple design and the actual puzzles are pretty easy, I really enjoyed the story that is told.
It may seem like it is just about different coloured shapes, but that isn't entirely true because each of these shapes has its own name and a special ability, which makes them more "human" than just normal shapes (if that makes any sense).

Thomas Was Alone is a great platformer, I liked it.
