Aside from some obtuse and convoluted puzzles, this is a pretty relaxing game. The solutions to those puzzles are usually just hidden in plain sight, but sometimes the solution is completely random; the entirety of chapter two is quite restrictive and specific, and often times the actual solution is just physically impossible to see unless you are scanning every inch of the screen with your mouse.

There are some poor twists and contrived moments which feel very sudden, and some of the voice acting lacks conviction when it really needed some; the final boss battle especially suffers because of that. Things can also feel a bit lifeless at times which doesn't help. At one point I ended up in a suit of armour, as one does, and none of the characters commented on how strange that was. Maybe that isn't unusual around here, who knows, but it feels like a bit of an oversight when at another point where your physical appearance is somewhat altered, people do take notice of it.

For me the highlight was the town of Trüberbrook, a quaint and weird little town. It's nothing wholly unique, but it is a fun setting and has a lot of charm which carried me through the game.

You will be spending most of your time walking around, finding things and then mashing those things together to make a new thing. It is strangely in these more quiet and seemingly dull moments where the game shined for me, it's immensely satisfying when you figure out what to do. Overall occassionally frustrating, but otherwise a good time and as I said, fairly relaxing.

About on par with the 2013 game, but definitely not as good as Rise. The story is interesting enough, kept me engaged. Though I guess I was a little confused on the stakes of it all. Maybe I wasn't paying attention or maybe the game didn't communicate it well enough. The gameplay is largely unchanged from Rise, but is still good; the controls are a bit wonky, though. I'd say the highlight of these new games are the challenge tombs, at least for the last two. They're a lot of fun and it's where all the best aspects of the game kind of blend into one little puzzle. Long story short, if you liked the previous two, you'll most likely enjoy this one as well.

I liked episode two quite a bit, despite being apprehensive about actually playing it, given the news. It suffers from the same slow pacing as the first episode, but there's some good stuff in here, though I do prefer episode one slightly. The characters continue to be enjoyable, especially Louis, and it ends with a really interesting scenario that I would've loved to see fleshed out and concluded.

Unfortuately, that probably won't happen as Telltale Games are shutting down and have cancelled the rest of the season, which everyone is aware of at this point. There has been some talk of other studios collaborating with Telltale to finish the season, or something like that, but I don't think it'll work out. A massive shame as Telltale were one of my favourite developers, and hopefully everyone that was laid off lands on their feet and continues making great games.

After the disappointment that was A New Frontier, I was cautiously optimistic for the final season. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but I did kind of assume I'd like it more than A New Frontier. In fact, I liked it a lot more.

Surprisingly, I loved the crap out of this first episode and I'm already way more invested in the story and characters than I was for A New Frontier and maybe even season two, as well. Unlike that of A New Frontier, there is an importance on characters. This is the big thing in The Walking Dead, because the universe is incredibly limited and as long as you have good characters, you can mostly get around it. Most, if not all, of the new characters were enaging, likeable and fun. They felt like real people, which is obviously a good thing and I can't wait to see where the story takes them after the events of the first episode.

I'm shocked at how much I enjoyed it and how Telltale actually managed to pull it off, at least the first episode. It also makes me incredibly happy seeing the reviews at Overwhelmingly Positive, seeing how many people also enjoyed it. I've said before that the heart and soul of this series is Clementine, so making the final season her story was definitely the right decision. It's probably too early to say, and I'm most definitely overhyping this, but if the season continues to improve in quality and writing and just general improvements, it may actually rival that of season one, which is saying a LOT.

I cannot wait for the next episode. Let's hope it doesn't go downhill from here! (This is very sobering to me now)

Yet another game that I really wanted to play but ultimately had to refund due to poor optimization. Framerate is locked at 62(which is odd), stutters non-stop, and the game just looks and feels kinda ♥♥♥♥.

Had to refund this. The game stutters way too much at any graphical setting, FPS is locked to 90 and the gameplay wasn't even that great. The car-based combat was kind of underwhelming. Really disappointed, as I'm a MASSIVE fan of these games.

Considering I bought this game for literally 99 cents, it's basically the best game I've ever played. Very interesting story with some fun but easy puzzles. If you like short games that you can beat in one sitting, then I recommend.

This game was a massive disappointment.

Nothing about this game is done better than in season 1 or 2.

The characters, story and gameplay are all much worse and are very underwhelming.

The choices are incredibly boring and have no emotional impact, unlike the first two games. This game didn't really need to be made, since it doesn't continue Clementine's story and just feels like filler as a result.

I could go into more detail but I'm already working on a video, mainly comparing this season to seasons 1 and 2(shameless plug), so I'd rather not waste your time, as well as my own, by ranting about it.
