a fun solid game, with a fairly smooth pace and gameplay. after bloodtrail it need a bit more meat to its bones, and kinks worked out, but again, fairly solid.

I'm going to be giving this game a "Great game, but small gripes to how somethings a handled” in short.

So, the basics good bits, love the style, look and time it takes place in. The game plays great with and does what its sets out to do well. The event stuff is a great idea for when I get to the level to do it haha, but makes something to look forward to after beating the game. Some bugs I have already experienced but some minor or being able to reset the mission to the checkpoint and simply carry on, which is great forward thinking I find if you get locked do to a bug.

A few gripes I have, well the whole pay to get weapons, cash, or crafting mats, let alone after the intro part giving you 200 creds to show you how to pay to win and sort of encourages people to do so with that small taste of 200 creds. But all that can be avoided or ignored if you got the will to do so. Another thing which is I’d say a good 90% my fault for not reading in more detail, but the deluxe edition not including the season pass or such, I mean ill get it at some point, but I always thought a bundle or usually the deluxe would have the season pass, but my fault for my presumptions, ass out of you and me and such.

So other than that, and what I can think of at this moment is my review, if there is need to add more later in me playing then ill add in bellow this, but for now, in short, the game is pretty good and look forward to more.

TL/DR: Over all pretty fun with some things that could improve. Some stuff can be subject to change since I only play 16 hours since review.

It's been a long time since I had a open world co-op focused game, where you can play through the story with my friends. Having the ability to have more then one character is great to, so that I can play on my own with out progressing the multiplayer character I have with my friends. Then gun play is pretty fun and the stealthing about it sweet to. the vehichles are not bad for the most part, just the air crafts I find to be a bit clunky to control. The AI is pretty decent most of the time, of course always room for improvment (but that could go with adding dragging bodies gamplay), as some times i just stand by a door way and punch them in the face and they funel out like no one killed their buddy just then.

Loving the story so far, the side quests are fun with actual different tactics and variant of on. I'm still early on in it but so far good, playing on veteran is a fair bit of a challenge but keeps me engaged and plan. haven’t played online yet and will wait to review that when me and my buddy play it, the movement is a bit slower then BO3 but to be expected I guess since I hear people argue that they want more "boots on the group action" and another half now want "boots off the ground action".
Looks sick in triple screen, but my GTX 1070 dips down just bellow 60 at max graphics some times, and the cut scenes are REALLY not meant to be in triple screen as it looks like fat midgets arguing, wish they planned ahead and made black borders for them, but who know maybe a fix will come along. So, ill just play single screen for my frames sake even though it hovers around 50-80fps and cut scenes, and some stretching of UI, so single screen I’m well over 100fps so that’s good.
Everything else loads fine and plays fine so no complaints there.
I'm not the biggest fan of cod games over all but hey its been fun, and had lots of fun online with BO3 so I can see getting use to this one can be tough, especially with different companies in charge and different view on marketing concepts but will see.
This would be a review in progress, and I will try to remember to update it.

Well my original review of this game was really negative being the fact that really nothing to do and it was a hot mess.

Then playing the 1st(?) major update being base building and such, didint pull me in to much, and I found that it was not a big deal for me.

But here we are mid 2018 2 years after release. I have to say, props to the dev team, like huge props, sticking to your guns and turning this game around majorly. is it at where it was boasted about, no. But it is in a 1000% better play now, and I can honestly say I'm enjoying it now and have more want to go deeper and get better equipment. I'm turning this thumb down to a up.

for the bit me and my buddies played of the 4 levels we played, it was intense sweat dripping fun as one of the levels your looking all around you wielding Uzis killing everyone before they kill you.

would love to see more levels to flail around in, and dive for cover as i shoot people in. And posibly a more structured story through one characters eye's(or multiple through a neat story of course), but who knows maybe in another series ;) haha.

All in all great game, and would posibly love more levels.

Ahh Fallout 4, a highly anticipated game for me and my friends looking forward to it when it drew near its release. As with all Bethesda games at the start, make the character for X hours make a funny name and you’re on your way.
To spare some time and detail for some, in short its well a Fallout game, the character creation is more in-depth then earlier titles which are cool, the skill system is much different the others but other then that its well the same as previous editions for gameplay sense. You’ll notice I only have 60h into the game, and that’s with restarting a character 12 hours in as I didn’t like how it was going.
Quick pros and cons from when I played
Pros
- building stuff
- character creation
- item customization
- item scaling
Cons
- the story was meh
- Item scaling
- character interaction
- vast nothing
- lack of, or artificial difficulty

So let me explain a bit of this, the reasoning why I put item scaling in cons and pros is well I like to challenge my self when I play fallout a bit, so I use melee weapons or something of the sort. First weapon I purchase was a legendary sword that does bonus damage to robots, cool… it was the first and last weapon I ended off with. Difficulty was not a thing for the most part whenever I could I run up to someone and cut them in two no problem, the only difficult part was when turrets where placed in areas I could not possibly get to no matter what, so I had to pack a pistol to deal with that.

The story was meh and why I say vast nothingness is well I got out of the vault, and started the main story all ready for some side quests and joy along the way, I got some repeatable quest to do this or that which I fell off of really quick as they are well lacking in anything fun with turrets I can’t reach, so I ignored them. The most side quests I got where with the brotherhood of steel, did the few they had that I got and carried on through the story. I didn’t really get any other side quest so I completed the main story fairly quick siding with the brotherhood as well, they where the most interaction I got. Bam story done and no real interesting side quests to do afterword’s. no real reason to visit it any time soon with every other game I have or games that id rather be playing with friends.

TL/DR: Great game, just needs some cleaning up.

Risk of Rain is a fantastic game, but still needs lots of work. As of the time I have been playing it, the steam achievements don’t want to be completed even when doing the task to complete them. Multiplayer can be clunky at some points as you will continually fall through the world need to reset, and try again, same with single player on occasion.

Other than some of the bugs that happen here in there, the game is quit fun a great shoot em’ up style of game. Slow to start but when the ball starts rolling its keeping going, and you end up being a killing machine. So much so that bosses kind of just blink out of existence by you just looking at them, even the final boss if you loop enough times.

The unlocking system is fun, for characters or items, unlocking most of the classes at the point of this review, they are quit diverse and interesting to play, bringing their own neat thing to the table, also with the unlockable items make them into their own type of monster blender.

Artifacts that you unlock through secrets are a fun way to add a twist to the awesome gameplay. But trying to unlock them 5 times in a row for them not to unlock isn’t. But figuring out how to unlock them in the end and play around with them was fun.

Fun little things they could add is a endless wave mode where to fight wave after wave until you die, or maybe just a defend the core. Little things just to add to gameplay. But that’s fine if they don’t it’s a okay game in the end that just needs to clean up a few things.
