This is honestly one of the best games I've ever played. Know that empty feeling you get after you finish a damn good game? The only game to top the emptiness this game left me with is Life is Strange, and Life is Strange was all about the story. This game is truly amazing. It may take a bit to get into it, but once you do, it sucks you in. The whole experience is even better if you've read the books.

Story? Base game is 9/10, Hearts of Stone is 9.5/10, and Blood and Wine is 8.5

Combat? Some monsters are boring as all hell to fight but others are super fun. It's not Dark Souls, but it does fine. The bosses in the two DLCs are great, Dark Souls/Bloodborne worthy bosses.

The World? Honestly amazing. Novigrad is one the most detailed and yet biggest cities I've seen in a game. The wilderness really feels like one. The forests are actually dense unlike some games. The outskirts of the maps really feel isolated. One of the best worlds/settings I've experienced.

Characters? If you haven't read the books, they'll be great but nothing amazing. If you have, prepare yourself because CDPR blows it out of the water... Except Yen, she's portrayed a little..meh, but she opens up if you give her the chance to.

Early Access Review
Half the time I clicked on something, it wouldn't register. The driving is complete crap as well, completely unrealistic. My car shouldn't be drifting all over the place when I attempt a turn at 15 mph.

Edit 2: With the patch, it's a lot better but still not how it should be. My fps never drops below 40 now even on Ultra settings, but it does go down to the lower 40's in a lot of locations. $60 worthy? The game itself is absolutely great. Story is eh, but the gameplay is what Dishonored is about and it's amazing. So with the new patch, I'd say it's worth it if $60 isn't much to you. If it is, wait for a sale. Until the performance is completely smoothed out for me, I'm going to keep my recommendation to a no.

At the moment, I do NOT recommend this game. The optimization is god awful. My GTX 980 TI drops to 40's even on high settings. Sometimes to 30s on ultra. It's just truly unacceptable. The game itself is great, but the performance makes it not worth it. Wait until a patch fixes it, if it ever does. If it doesn't, don't buy it. Don't support this crap.

Edit: It now drops to 25-30 on high settings. Even on the very lowest settings, it drops to 50 fps. Unacceptable.
