An enjoyable zen-ish game. You're a fox with zoomies and no fall damage running around the terrain collecting mushrooms and solving minor puzzles. If you're after a challenging game look elsewhere, but this is great when you want to tune out and enjoy zooming around the countryside with relatively straightforward objectives.

It's an odd mashup of No Man's Sky and Outer Worlds, but both those games do their parts far better than Starfield does. Skip this game and go play them instead.

With Phantom Liberty and quite a few patches I can now unequivocally recommend Cyberpunk 2077, especially if you liked the original Deus Ex.

Early Access Review
By far the most fun I've had with railway route planning games. Like the best engineering games it's about constantly tweaking and expanding your setup as requirements change (e.g. entering a new era and new resources/factories appear on the map) to get goods transported through an increasingly complicated network.

If you liked Return of the Obra Dinn I highly recommend this game. It scratches a lot of the same puzzling-out itches and most of the translation puzzling makes logical sense, which is a welcome relief from the arbitrary nonsense in games that (frequently poorly) ape Myst.

Very excellent exploration/mild puzzles game. Also it has a button for "meow".

It's Half-Life like you remember, but with full rosy glasses rather than how it actually was, and Xen is actually fun this time.

It's an interesting concept but there's not enough game here.

The tedium of repetitively pushing buttons to advance gets old fast and while once in a very long while there's a puzzle which provides some interest those puzzles are too few and far between. The atmosphere is mildly interesting, but it doesn't carry the game so overall I can't really recommend it.

The puzzles are on par with Portal and by far it's the most fun VR game I've tried. Doesn't feel gimmicky like so many others do, it actually makes sensible use of the ability to pick up and manipulate objects. Biggest downside is the length, 10 levels runs out all too quickly and makes you wish Valve made a full game like this.

If you like the occasional game of minesweeper but want more depth, Hexceed definitely scratches that itch.
