i felt like dd1 was a bit better than dd2. dd2 removed what makes dd1 better in some regards. however, dd2 refined what it kept from dd1. imo, wait for a dark arisen version of dd2.

just as good as the first one, if not better.

one of the more robust dungeon crawlers out there with some NiS flavor in it.

i will throw a quick warning that it is well over 100+ hours of gameplay time if you want to clear this game and will require quite a bit of patience to slog through what this game throws at you. read what others are trying to advise you in guides or discussions, it will save you lots of time and make your experience alot more fun.

awesome co-op for rondo of blood style gameplay. its not a metroidvania, but it has qualities that allow you to enjoy it as such

play this series already

a very good tactical rpg. good customization with squads, units, gear, and classes. interesting enough map designs. has gaiden chapters. no regrets on the purchase

also this game gets updates and dlc

if you like any atlus rpg, etrian odyssey, or shining the holy ark this game is up your alley

progressing through the main storyline is chill and doesnt require much brainpower
the post game is what you are looking for if you want to grind
