My "friends" made me hate this game. 11/10

Very fun, but short-lived with almost no replayability. This is a game that you will play once, love, and wish there was more, but you'll never recieve it. If this doesn't bother you, then this is a good game for you.

Game had so much potential, shame it sucks.

EDIT: Well, after two years, No Man's Sky has finally lived up to its potential. Actual multiplayer, tuning of the features, adding new ones, and just making the game better all around. It has finally earned my recommendation.

EDIT: I used to be all hype about this game, I loved it. I've been playing it since it was in beta, back in 2014. That's why it hurts my heart to say that as the game is now, I can't recommend it. There are countless issues that have existed for years without getting fixed, and the game still feels empty. It was forgivable and understandable back then, but it's been nearly a decade now and it still feels just as empty and devoid of purpose as it always has. The entire Odyssey expansion is a complete joke, barely functions, and has absolutely zero purpose. All we wanted was to be able to walk around our ship. That's it. And yet it's the ONLY feature that Frontier refused to give us. It seriously feels like the dev team just left en masse and the game is being managed by a skeleton crew now, nothing has progressed in ages. The only plus I can give it as opposed to other games like it is that at least it runs (unless you're playing Odyssey). I swear, you could run this game on a literal potato if you wanted to. Star Citizen is so poorly optimized that it's unplayable without a supercomputer. Only reason I'm still playing is because I'm desperate for Sci-fi content and this is the only game I can run.

Imagine a world where you could do anything you wanted. Forge your own path, blaze your own trail, choose your own destiny. That is Elite: Dangerous. I bought the beta of the game back in 2014, and have been playing for over a year, so if you include my time on the non steam version, I have about 1,000 hours on this game. What I love about it is the ultimate freedom that you have. You can do ANYTHING! You can be a bounty hunter, a pirate, a trader, a miner, a mercenary, an assassin, a courier, a soldier, an explorer, and so much more. This game is only limited by your own imagination. With 400 billion star systems, and thousands of them inhabited, you will never want for a change of scenery. I will admit, it has a steep learning curve, but once you get past it, the game is so much fun. All in all, a great game that gives you an indefinite amount of content for the price of 10 hours. 11/10.
