If you're a fan of platformers then buying this game is a no-brainer. If you aren't, I still think it's a worthwhile purchase. Celeste has a number of options designed to make the game easier while still posing a credible challenge, and it's worth playing through the game just to experience the story and soundtrack.

Once you've finished the game and find yourself wanting more, check out the mods! Celeste has a vibrant modding scene with many amazing maps to try out. I'd personally suggest giving Glyph a try, it's got an amazing theme and a unique soundtrack.

If you ever played this game when it was released, then you probably know that it was buggy, incomplete and boring.

I'm glad to say that it isn't anymore. Chucklefish deserves a huge round of applause for early-access done right, where they didn't just released a crappy game (although they did at the start) and ignore it because they had already made a quick buck off it. They've worked their collective arses off on this game and it shows.

I feel that the exploration aspects could still use some work, as once you've seen a biome you've pretty much seen every world with the same biome, but it's an overall fun experience and definitely worth the price.
