Fantastic game, tons of fun and in most ways an improvement on the first one.
Note, you do not have to play remnant 1 to play this one.

There are a lot of complaints on the traits, but I understand the reason for their cap, and I don't think it's a problem.
I wouldn't mind uncapped traits either, but it is honestly fine as is

What seemed like a promising game has been a non stop train wreck for months, from incredibly game breaking bugs to more gamebreaking bugs, and when those start to become a bit of a trickle, it's time to nerf mulitple aspects of the game, while leaving so many things like perks broken.

It is absolutely insane how they took something with such promise and just willfully lit it on fire in a dumpster.

Played nearly 5 hrs at time of writing.
Game is a lot of fun, playing from NA hasn't had much issue with server lag, it has been a rarity.
Combat is fun and fluid,each weapon feels different.

Definitely worth the mere $20 you pay.
Unlocks are done a variety of ways,from lootboxes to in game currency both.
Lootboxes are given to you fairly often for different milestones, and its all cosmetic anyway.

Glyph system lets you unlock and build a bit more your way and is a nice touch.

For a 20 dollar game, its a ton of fun and I don't really see why ppl are throwing such a fit.

Gorgeous game and very addicting, just a ton of fun to play

As much as I enjoy this game and want to see it succeed I can not recommend it at this time until the mass of bugs are repaired.

It is a gorgeous game, it has a solid feel to the abilities and attacks and the story is actually worth paying attention to.
The endgame is layered and what I have done so far of it is interesting and fun

But
There are far too many issues to recommend buying this at full price atm, many people go beyond just not being able to connect to having thier game locked out from glitches if they upgrade certain building in end game, there are many abilities not working as intended,or at all. Some are grossly overpowered and others simply do nothing.
The game can get stuck unable to let you continue from a variety of bugs.

I think once the game breaking bugs are fixed that the game has big potential, I truly look forward to that time and will update my review accordingly.

I actually upvoted the game when it seemed that it was largely just a launch day mess (these things happen) but at this point far too many people are fully bricked from playing.

I will continue to play and sincerely hope these bugs and glitches are repaired

If you are a diablo 2 fan that felt like too much was lost in diablo 3, this is likely the game you are looking for.

I will not lie to you, it has many layers and can be a daunting experience to learn but it is well worth it, it haws a lot of fun and diversity with a lot of layers to peel back and get into.

Every season changes something in a pretty big way, and while some are less popular than other's they keep remnants of the good ones for the future, an every improving game is fantastic.

It is a challenging arpg, you can make a build blindly and find there are many things content wise you simply can not do and as much as this will rub some people the wrong way, doing literally whatever you want SHOULDN'T mean you can do 100% of the content in the game, it would make things far too easy.

If you are new I always suggest looking at League Starter builds, they are typically cheap via trading or easy to aquire and a good build will list pro's and cons, and tell you how to go about your skill tree and items. As you play and learn you will be able to start altering those builds, changing them to suite you and your needs, and it will get easier and easier.

The game has a very helpful community in game, while people may not just hand you things for free constantly they do help one another with questions constantly.

If dungeon crawlers are your type of game, truly give this game a try. It may seem daunting at first but just take it one step at a time.

You will see MTX complaints, they are higher priced than most people are use to but completely optional. (I love many of them)
Despite the hate you may read for them, many people use them as you will see, and Supporter Packs are a fantastic deal with skins + in game currency worth what you paid.

The only MTX I suggest everyone seriously consider in the long term, are some of the tabs, 1+ Premium tabs, Currency,Maps and maybe Fragments.

ALL THE CURRENCY TABS GO ON SALE ONCE A MONTH FOLKS, about every 3 weeks I want to say?
And always about 2-3 weeks into a new league.
You can play without them, but the stash or special tabs certainly can be nice.

I say give it a shot either way, you may be happily surprised, and can always as the general chats for tips on starting out, or things to look at to help.

Great game, a lot of fun for the price. It has improved a lot since it's release.
Hack and Slash Left for Dead that is definitely best with friends you either bring with you, or make in game.

Never bothered to write a review before, but this game is worth doing so.
If you enjoy mobas like Dota, LoL, or Hots, you will probably enjoy this. It is fast paced and just stripped down to the team fighting with everyone on the same footing, no items or out farming someone.

Very fun, would absolutely recommend to anyone
