The first two minutes of every run are a complete slog and drag the game down, as you'll kill every enemy and will have to wait for the next wave to spawn for far too long.

The more dangerous enemies don't always announce their presence (even though they're supposed to) and they don't always make sound to announce they're about to attack (even though they're supposed to). I'm pretty sure its a bug since this happens mostly later on when there are alot of things on screen at once, but its not fun at all to have die to a wolf charging through a bat spawner and kill you because you can't see him and he made no spawn sound and no attack sound.

I've played a total of five visual novels, and WOC is one of the better VN that i've played so far.

Although it had one or two moments that left a bad taste in my mouth, winds of change is an incredible experience. Compelling story, lovable characters, interesting side plots and a rich history to explore of the land. With incredible voice acting to add, winds of change gets a huge thumbs from me.

By far one of (if not THE) best visual novels I have ever played to date.

The story is compelling and leaves you constantly guessing, the characters are likeable, interesting and very well voice acted, and it is genuinely scary at times. I fully disagree with the review that says the text is repetitive, as I found it not repetitive in the slighest and always kept me engaged and interested in what was going on the story.

I very highly recommend this game to anyone who even has a passing thought about getting it. It is a solid visual novel that you won't be disappointed in.

This game reminds me of single player adventure games from my childhood. Voice acting is questionable in some places (with the english dub) and a couple of things don't make sense lore wise, but otherwise its a fantastic game with great characters

Poorly optimized. 4770 Intel Core, GTX 1060 and 24GB RAM and had to turn all settings to low to pull 60 FPS

This is when I wish there was a 'neutral' or 'ok' rating for games, because this game doesn't warrent a define yes or no.

HellSign is a very interesting game. You play as a paranormal investigator, and armed with technology and your guns, you go to houses to do one of three missions. You grind these three missions endlessly in order to gain fame, XP, and money to buy better equipment to help you. However, one of the missions are very difficult to do and you need to grind only two of the missions in order to prepare for one of the more difficult missions.

Characters are unique and interesting (Although the writing is... questionable at times), there is a large section of guns, equipment, supplies and clothing to choose from, a large selection of skills to choose from, a good amount of enemies to fight and a mostly interesting story. Add onto this the atmosphere is VERY good, and you have the start of a solid game.

So, why is this not a great game? There are a few reasons.

Right now, combat does not feel good. Guns sound flat (as another reviewer said, whom I agree with), and enemies do not react to your shots. Some animations look very bad, and one animation is completely missing. Combat has a learning curve, but it took me an hour to figure it out, and after two hours I was bored of the combat. Right now there is only one kind of map (abandoned house), although it is randomly generated so that helps a bit. The lack of missions and the amount of grinding you need to do makes the game very stale very quickly.

All in all its not a bad game because I did enjoy it, but I didn't have enough fun to keep it. Maybe in the future I'll pick it up again.

The game was fun at first and has an interesting story, but now the gameplay is tedious, incredibly frustrating, and some bugs are showing their head and making the gameplay even worse.
